Stanton is not a mobile Qb though. With that horrible Cardinal offensive line unable to protect him, he has little chance to emerge if he starts. But it's still early yet. Let's see what the Cardinals do about the line. James

Stanton is intriguing and can't possibly be worse for Fitzgerald's fantasy value than what he got from the Arizona QB's last season. Also have to remember he's entering his 7th NFL season and has never been given a legit chance to prove himself. He started 3 games for Detroit in 2010 and went 2-1 in that span while posting a 3-2 TD-INT ratio. Nothing special there, but at least it showed some competence (which only Kolb showed last season when he was healthy; the other Cards QB's were horrible).

Can't say I'm buying into Stanton, but I'm giving Arians the benefit of the doubt. Besides, none of the rookie QB's are exciting, and none of the available free agents this year really offered a whole lot more than Stanton. We'll see, Jeff!
