2013 IDP Player Rankings: Defensive Backs

By: Robert Kirlin (aka: The IDP GURU)

(Editor's note: For the past several seasons we have thoroughly enjoyed having Robert Kirlin provides us with his top 50 lists at DL, LB, and DB positions each preseason. While we do not have IDP's included in our Analyzer's due to our standards of making sure the algorithm we provide meets a level of accuracy we have a high degree of confidence in, we are thankful for Robert's involvement with us and his willingness to share his opinions on IDP questions in our Forums)

Another Fantasy Football season is upon us, and you are looking once again for a decisive advantage in your IDP draft.

Well look no further, as this should give you the advantage over your fellow owners that you seek.

I have compiled once again my Top 50 List for D-Line, Linebacker and D-Backs.

Here are the Defensive Backs:

1. Charles Tillman Chicago: Older player, but just the most consistent

2. Harrison Smith Minnesota: 74 tackles last year, I'm thinking closer to 90 this year.

3. Morgan Burnett Green Bay: Last year's top tackler at DB, I don't see him repeating that, but still a great player.

4. Eric Weddle San Diego: Not to his form from a few years ago, but will be solid.

5. Eric Berry Kansas City: KILLED me last year, but look for a bounce back.

6. Antoine Bethea Indianapolis: My personal favorite

7. Kam Chancellor Seattle: He always seems to under achieve, but his numbers are solid.

8. Laron Landry Indianapolis: Poor D-line and LB play will lead to a lot of secondary points for him and Bethea

9. Antrel Rolle NY Giants: Always solid.

10. Ryan Clark Pittsburgh: If healthy will probably lead the Steelers in tackles.

11. Cortland Finnegan St. Louis

12. Jairus Byrd Buffalo

13. Tyvon Branch Oakland

14. Reshad Jones Miami

15. Janoris Jenkins St. Louis
