Quarterbacks

*-It's unknown if Ben Roethlisberger will start week 16 or not for Pittsburgh. He was ineffective last night and clearly bothered by his ankle injury.

*-The Bears are ready to move on from Caleb Hanie. They are expected to start Josh McCown this week.

*-Word is the Rams are likely to shut down Sam Bradford for the last 2 games of the 2011 season. Between his bothersome ankle injury and having nothing to gain by subjecting him to more potential injuries, it's believed they will close out the season with Kellen Clemens at QB.

*-Matt Hasselbeck is expected to remain the starter for Tennessee unless he has any troubles with his calf injury in practices this week.

*-Colt McCoy is not expected to be ready to return from his concussion yet and the Browns are expected to start Seneca Wallace again week 16.

*-No word on whether Kevin Kolb will be able to start for Arizona or not. With the way John Skelton has been winning games it just may be that the Cards decide to sit Kolb another week to really clear up any remaining cobwebs he may have from his own concussion.

Running Backs

*-Darren McFadden didn't practice today and it seems unlikely at this point that he will play week 16. Expect Michael Bush to be the feature RB for Oakland again this week.

*-Chris Johnson suffered an ankle injury but it's not believed to be serious and he is currently expected to be okay for week 16. But with how unreliable he's been even with a good matchup it's hard to trust him.

*-Roy Helu suffered knee and foot injuries this past week and while he is expected to be able to play this week, this could mean he loses his feature RB status and instead goes into a time share with Evan Royster.

*-Shonn Greene suffered tendon damage to his pinky finger but it won't prevent him from starting week 16.

*-Felix Jones was held out of practice today because of a minor hamstring strain but he is currently fully expected to start for Dallas this week.

*-Willis McGahee suffered a hamstring injury week 15 and while the Broncos say it isn't serious, it's always a concern when the injury prone McGahee can't finish games. You just know he wants to play this week though as it's against his former team, Buffalo. As long as he practices by the end of the week I'd say he'll be fine.

*-Steelers backup RB Mewelde Moore suffered a knee injury yesterday and he is likely to miss the last two games of the season.

*-There's rumblings out of Chicago that Kahlil Bell may overtake Marion Barber as the primary RB, but I would be very careful about buying too heavily into this as Bell has one good game to his resume, last week.

Wide Receivers

*-Andre Johnson has already been ruled OUT for Thursday night's game. Jacoby Jones will start in his place.

*-A.J. Green suffered a shoulder sprain week 15 and while he is likely to be held out of practices until Thursday, he is expected to be able to play week 16. Green's teammate, Andre Caldwell was a surprise inactive this past week and now word is that he could miss the last 2 games of the season because of an abdominal injury.

*-Steve Johnson should be considered questionable for week 16 after he aggravated a previous groin injury this past week. While Johnson is likely to play, he won't be 100%.

*-Johnny Knox will miss the rest of the rest of the regular season after suffering what looked like a horrific back injury week 15. Luckily, he's supposed to be okay for the 2012 season. Between this the release of Sam Hurd last week, the Bears now have Earl Bennett, Roy Williams, Devin Hester, Dane Sanzenbacher, and they signed Max Komar to be the 5th WR.

*-Seattle's Mike Williams' season is over after he broke an ankle this past weekend.

*-Jacoby Ford didn't practice today for Oakland and it would be a safe bet to assume he won't be playing this week.

*-Ted Ginn may miss week 16 because of an ankle injury.

Tight Ends

*-Jake Ballard suffered a knee injury and while it's not believed to be serious, it likely will prevent him from playing week 16.

*-Owen Daniels is considered a game time decision for Thursday night because of a knee injury. Joel Dreessen might be the better play from Houston.

*-Dallas Clark will likely be considered a game time decision for Thursday night as well with his neck injury. Jacob Tamme is likely the better play.

*-Buffalo hopes to have Scott Chandler back from his ankle injury this week but it's too early in the week to know for sure. They could use him as they lost backup Lee Smith for the last 2 games because of an ankle injury.

*-Cleveland lost Alex Smith for the last 2 games because of a shoulder injury. Rookie Jordan Cameron moves up the depth chart to behind Evan Moore.

*-Washington waived Dominique Byrd. So much for that intriguing skill set I said he possessed last week.

Kickers

*-Baltimore may decide to bring in a kicker to take Billy Cundiff's place. Cundiff missed a FG this past weekend and he's been struggling with a calf injury the last few weeks.

*-Jacksonville's Josh Scobee appears to be over his groin injury as the Jags waived his insurance policy, Brandon Coutu, today.

“I have been playing fantasy football for 4 years and before I never made the playoffs with other service I had, but with you guys I was high point total last year and won it all and this year high point again. I owe it all too you guys” Kevin first year member

I do have to say though, the best thing I got out of FFS was the weekly Fantasy Alerts sent directly to my email. I had a few guys compliment me on my waiver wire pickups. Another said, "You only won because of FFS."” Josh second year member
