Quarterbacks

*-Christian Ponder is sounding very questionable for week 14 because of a hip injury originally believed to be minor. Ponder has been unable to practice so far this week and if he doesn't practice tomorrow, he won't play. Joe Webb would get the start for Minnesota if Ponder can't play.

*-Josh Freeman is considered likely to be listed as Questionable for this week with his shoulder injury. But he is also tentatively expected to be able to start. If he can't, Josh Johnson would start for Tampa Bay in his place.

*-It's looking very likely Tom Brandstater will start for the Rams Monday night after neither Sam Bradford nor A.J. Feeley were able to practice again today.

*-No word yet on whether Kansas City is going to start Tyler Palko or Kyle Orton. The only reason Orton wouldn't start is because his dislocated finger is too bothersome. Orton has been limited in practices with it. Just stay away from the Chiefs QB's.

Running Backs

*-Minnesota's Adrian Peterson put in a limited practice today and if his ankle doesn't swell up on him tomorrow it looks like he will be able to play this week. Be sure to check my Saturday team by team news and notes in my blog for the latest word on whether you'll be able to count on Peterson this week.

*-Willis McGahee missed practice again today. The Broncos are believed to just be resting McGahee and his minor knee injury. It's expected that he'll practice tomorrow and be fine for week 14.

*-Cedric Benson was held out of practice today after being limited yesterday. Benson has a foot injury and missed practice time with it last week but played week 13. It's expected he'll practice tomorrow and be fine for week 14.

*-Mark Ingram missed practice again today with his mild case of turf toe. It's believed that with Chris Ivory healthy that Ingram will be made inactive this week and that Ivory would get some playing time. Consider Ingram doubtful for this week.

*-James Starks missed practice today with his ankle injury and if he doesn't practice tomorrow it's expected he'll sit out this week for Green Bay.

*-Kevin Smith also has not been able to practice with his ankle injury and like with Starks, if he doesn't practice tomorrow he is not expected to play this week for Detroit.

*-Both Ahmad Bradshaw and Brandon Jacobs of the Giants have yet to practice this week but both are expected back tomorrow and both should play this week.

*-Pittsburgh placed Jonathan Dwyer on injured reserve with a foot injury. His season is over.

Wide Receivers

*-Andre Johnson has been unable to practice with his minor hamstring injury and the Texans are expected to sit him this week.

*-Jeremy Maclin practiced again today and barring any setbacks he will be able to play this week for the Eagles despite his hamstring not being fully recovered.

*-Wes Welker continues to be limited with a minor knee issue but he is fully expected to be fine for this week.

*-Laurent Robinson missed practice again today with his shoulder injury. Injuries have always been a problem with him and between it and the return of Miles Austin, his fantasy value is dropping quickly. If he doesn't practice tomorrow I'd say he won't play week 14 at all for Dallas.

*-Mario Manningham practiced again today for the Giants and he is sounding likely to play this week. But it would likely be as the Giants 3rd WR and not as a starter.

*-Neither Denarius Moore nor Jacoby Ford were able to practice today and it's a foregone conclusion that neither will play week 14. On the good news front for the Raiders though Chaz Schilens put in a limited practice and appears likely to be able to start this week despite a foot injury.

*-Nate Washington missed practice again today with his ankle injury and unless he practices tomorrow for Tennessee I wouldn't be counting on him.

Tight Ends

*-Dallas Clark put in a second consecutive full practice for the Colts today and he is on track to play week 14.

*-Oakland's Kevin Boss is practicing this week despite a hip injury and he is expected to play week 14.

*-Buffalo's Scott Chandler was unable to practice again today and he is expected to miss week 14 with an ankle injury.

Kickers

*-Buffalo placed Rian Lindell on injured reserve today. His season is done. Dave Rayner will finish out the season as the Bills kicker.

*-Baltimore's Billy Cundiff missed practice today with a calf injury. No word on whether it's serious or not but if the Ravens start bringing in kickers for workouts and sign one by Saturday it will be a clear indication he won't kick this week.

“I have been playing fantasy football for 4 years and before I never made the playoffs with other service I had, but with you guys I was high point total last year and won it all and this year high point again. I owe it all too you guys” Kevin first year member

“I have been a member for the past 2 years. Last year I placed 3rd and this year...well I am the 2009 League Champ! I do have to say though, the best thing I got out of FFS was the weekly Fantasy Alerts sent directly to my email. I had a few guys compliment me on my waiver wire pickups. Another said, "You only won because of FFS."” Josh second year member
