Quarterbacks

*-Tony Romo's ribs aren't fully recovered yet, but he'll be fine to start this week. He's expected to continue wearing his kevlar jacket to protect himself.

*-As expected, Matt Schaub returned to practice today after being rested yesterday with a sore shoulder.

*-Kerry Collins returned to practice and while he may be able to finally play after missing the last 2 games with a concussion, it's fully expected that Curtis Painter will remain the starting QB for the Colts.

Running Backs

*-Arian Foster was limited in practice again today but it's not believed to be of any real concern and barring anything unforeseen between now and Sunday, I fully expect him to be fine for week 6.

*-After being limited in yesterday's practice with a surprise toe injury, BenJarvus Green-Ellis was held out of practice entirely today. It's unknown if he injured the toe in week 5 or if it happened in practice. If he doesn't practice in at least limited fashion tomorrow I'd expect him to be doubtful on the injury report. We won't know for sure until tomorrow so be sure to check my Saturday Team by Team news and notes in my fantasy football blog for an update. If BGE can't play, Stevan Ridley would get a huge uptick in fantasy football projections this week.

*-Danny Woodhead was limited in practice again today and despite his ankle not being fully recovered, he is expected to be able to play this week.

*-It's being reported that LeGarrette Blount is expected to miss at least 1-2 games with a knee sprain. Latest word is that he may have a sprained MCL and could miss a few weeks. Expect Earnest Graham to be the primary RB for Tampa Bay this week. And in a surprising move, the Bucs also waived their rookie draft pick RB Allen Bradford. While I expect they'll sign another free agent RB to replace Bradford and provide depth, I doubt whoever they would get would have fantasy value. Graham makes a decent fantasy play this week, and the other Bucs RB, Kregg Lumpkin could be considered as an acquisition for those who are desperate for a RB this week as he should get at least the same amount of playing time Graham was getting behind Blount.

*-Brandon Jacobs missed practice again today because of his knee sprain and he is sounding very unlikely to be able to play this week. Even if he somehow is active, I'd be starting someone else.

*-Daniel Thomas was limited again today in practice and while he is expected to play Monday night, I would feel a lot better if he puts in a full practice tomorrow or popped up as Probable on the injury report Saturday. But if he's listed as Questionable with the same hamstring injury that didn't heal up during the bye, I have a hard time recommending him over other quality options even if he does have a great matchup on paper.

*-Joseph Addai missed practice again today. It's almost a certainty he won't play week 6, and likely not week 7 either because of his hamstring injury.

*-LaDainian Tomlinson was limited in practice today with a reported calf strain but he is expected to be okay for Monday night.

Wide Receivers

*-Greg Jennings was limited in practice today with a groin issue. But it's believed to be minor and nothing that will prevent Jennings from being a great play this week against the Rams sad defense.

*-Lee Evans missed practice today after being able to practice some yesterday. It's unknown if he suffered a setback to the season long ankle injury he's been battling or not, but this obviously isn't a good sign. If being sat for two weeks before the bye and then having the bye wasn't enough time for it to heal up enough for him to be able to play, I can't say I like his chances of being fantasy relevant at any point this season unless he stays off of it for another 4 weeks. We don't know for sure, but it's sounding likely that Torrey Smith is going to start again this week.

*-Percy Harvin was limited in practice again today with his ribs injury. I expect he'll play this week but I'd be hard pressed to recommend him this week against the Bears.

*-Kevin Walter missed practice today due to an illness. While he should be fine for week 6 I wouldn't recommend starting him against Baltimore's defense.

*-Earl Bennett practiced some today for Chicago but he is expected to miss week 6 with his lingering chest injury.

*-Louis Murphy has been practicing in full this week and he may be able to play this week for Oakland. But with the Raiders getting production out of their other WR's, I would suspect Murphy would need an injury to happen for him to move up past being the 4th WR.

*-Both Roddy White and Devery Henderson put in full practices and both are fine for this week. But remember, While White is a strong starting fantasy WR, Henderson needs to be kept on fantasy benches.

Tight Ends

*-Chris Cooley was limited in practice again today and it appears that he may have had a setback in his injured knee. While he is expected to be able to play this week, even if active you'd need to be desperate to be relying on Cooley. Fred Davis is the best fantasy TE on Washington's roster.

*-Tony Gonzalez practiced in limited fashion today. He has an elbow injury that is believed to be minor and he is fully expected to be fine for week 6.

*-James Casey of Houston continues to be unable to practice with his pectoral muscle strain and while he may manage to be active for this week's game, I don't consider him to be worth having on fantasy rosters.

“I have been playing fantasy football for 4 years and before I never made the playoffs with other service I had, but with you guys I was high point total last year and won it all and this year high point again. I owe it all too you guys” Kevin first year member

I do have to say though, the best thing I got out of FFS was the weekly Fantasy Alerts sent directly to my email. I had a few guys compliment me on my waiver wire pickups.
