User bio: Since 1997 I've been doing a fantasy football radio show called "The Red Zone" in Phoenix, AZ. I've also had short stints on radio in Pittsburgh, PA and also on Sirius Satellite Radio. I despise the term "Fantasy Football Expert" as it implies rarely getting something wrong, along with some sort of superiority and I never allow myself to get that wrapped up in my own ego. I much prefer the term "Fantasy Football Analyst" as that is what I am and what I do. Somehow I grew up cheering for the (then) Los Angeles Rams with the old white horn helmets despite the fact both of my parents were Dallas Cowboys fans. Don't ask me how; I don't know. My favorite place to watch a game is at Santisi Brothers Pizzeria and Sports Grill in Phoenix. After years of playing the APBA Football games (anyone remember those?) I got into Fantasy Football in the early 1990's and one of my favorite personal championship teams was from 1995 when I had Scott Mitchell and Erik Kramer as my starting QB's in a 2 QB league.

Mendenhall and Thomas. It's not even close. 09/09/10 13:41
That's 3 for Floyd. Better matchup allows you to see if Moss and McNabb get on the same page early to start the season like they're expected to (but not guaranteed to). 09/09/10 13:41
CJ, Bowe, Ochocinco, and McCoy would be my plays. 09/09/10 13:40
Minnesota Vikings at New Orleans Saints     Minnesota: RB Toby Gerhart is Questionable because of a minor knee injury. Albert Young is likely to be the top backup to Adrian Peterson, but unlikely to bite into much of AP’s playing time. Brett Favre is Probable with his ankle injury and will definitely start. WR Sidney Rice starts the season on the PUP (Physically Unable to Perform) list because of hip surgery he had 2 weeks ago. Rice will be out at least until week 8 and probably longer. The Vikings are only carrying 4 WR’s on their roster currently. Bernard Berrian and Percy Harvin will start with Greg Lewis and Greg Camarillo as the 3rd and 4th. With the lack of depth at WR and the suspect nature of Favre’s ankle, look for a big dose of Adrian Peterson against a Saints run defense that ranked 21st in rushing yards allowed in 2009. The Saints also allowed 19 rushing touchdowns in 2009 (only 3 teams allowed more). Don’t be surprised if one of Favre’s favorite red zone targets from last year, TE Visanthe Shiancoe, catches some extra passes this week and has higher than usual yardage numbers because of the absence of Rice.     New Orleans: WR Marques Colston is Probable with a bruised kidney. He practiced in full on all week though and will start without worry. Rookie 3rd string TE Jimmy Graham is also Probable with an ankle injury but even if he were healthy he shouldn’t be figuring into your fantasy plans. Backup RB and potential goal line/short yardage specialist RB Chris Ivory is OUT with a knee injury. With only inconsistent DeShawn Wynn as the other RB besides Pierre Thomas and Reggie Bush, it’s a good bet Thomas will handle most of the load. Devery Henderson is also listed as a starting WR with Lance Moore as the #3 and Robert Meachem as the #4. Henderson’s offseason sports hernia is a non-issue and he isn’t on the injury report at all. Meachem was expected to push Henderson for the starting spot, but off-season toe surgery put him behind and he will have to show it is fully healed to make up ground. With so many weapons in the Saints passing attack, 2010 looks to be similar to 2009 in that any WR of the 4 could have a great week, and any could have disappointing stats. TE Jeremy Shockey is surprisingly not on the injury report but I’m sure that will change next week. Not that he’s injured currently, but he is a safe bet to get injured as that has been his M.O. The Vikings historically have been one of the best run defenses and with their secondary having injury issues, it will not be a surprise at all if Drew Brees airs it out enough tonight to be the top scoring fantasy QB in week 1.  09/09/10 13:37

“I have been playing fantasy football for 4 years and before I never made the playoffs with other service I had, but with you guys I was high point total last year and won it all and this year high point again. I owe it all too you guys” Kevin first year member

“I have been a member for the past 2 years. Last year I placed 3rd and this year...well I am the 2009 League Champ! I do have to say though, the best thing I got out of FFS was the weekly Fantasy Alerts sent directly to my email. I had a few guys compliment me on my waiver wire pickups. Another said, "You only won because of FFS."” Josh second year member

“Thank You FFS.com you were awesome I was high point total 2 years in a row and won it all I cant thank you enough see you next year” Rick 2 year member
