When in doubt – go with the players that are
on a team that has something to play for. Colts, Bears and Chargers
want that home field throughout the playoffs. And of course teams that
are scrapping to get in like the Bengals, Cowboys and Chiefs. These
teams will be playing their starters week in and week out as they treat
each contest like a playoff game.
Considering some last minute roster moves? Here are
some players that can help you now and possible solid #3s on your roster
for the playoffs. If they are available take a serious look:
- Ben Utecht, TE Colts: With Dallas Clark injured he’s getting
a lot of looks from Peyton Manning and it helps when you have Wayne
and Harrison for defenses to worry about.
- Jason Campbell, QB Washington Redskins: Good match-up this week
against a poor Atlanta Defense. He could put up better numbers this
weekend than some Studs.
- Nate Washington, WR Pittsburgh Steelers: With Hines Ward out this
week and his solid play as a #3 WR; he’s got a good match-up
this week against Tampa Bay.

Super Sleeper: the Vikings are Coming!
Our last Super Sleeper this year is Vikings WR Marcus Robinson. Clearly
the only Vikings WR who puts up any type of fantasy points consistently,
in weeks 14-16 Robinson faces the Lions, Jets, and Packers, who rank
20th, 22nd, and 29th respectively against the pass. If Robinson can
stay healthy (a big IF given his lengthy injury history) he makes one
of those free agent pickups right now that could pan out big for you
if you're worried about inconsistent play from your starters, or worried
about your starters resting in those critical late weeks if their NFL
