I am just thinking that it will take some time for this all to click.  If I could get value for Cotchery or Coles would this be a time to sell or stay pat?

I think that now is the time to act. But only if you can get some good constency for one of them. I personally don't see anything good for at least 4 weeks into the season, maybe 6-10. At that point you could see Farve injured or buckling under the pressure of playing in the New York market. One bad game and he will be hung by the NY media.
On top of all that..... The Madden Curse is alive and well!!!!

Tough call on this one guys as I do agree that its going to take time for this to work, even if it does. On thing to remember, this guy has played in one place, where the fans love him most of his life. What we all know is that change becomes more difficult the older we get and its going to take its toll. Factor in the NY fans who could care less of his past and just want a winner on the field now. My guess is if you can get value for one of your players now, go for it.

I think this increases the production of value of the Jets receivers and Thomas Jones. The Jets offense is very similar to Green Bays offense.

I predict Favre will be rusty only the first couple of games. He will throw a great deal of interceptions as well. Then the timing will kick in and he will go on a tear.

I also look for a big increase in Thomas Jones' numbers as well.

Yes it will take some game if this deal were to pan out- You dont need two Jets WR's See who you'll get me ore from Coles or Cotchery-
Jets Line should be solid this year and with Tony Richardson run blocking from the FB,  Thomas Jones should blow up this year

I really agree that the biggest fantasy upside in this deal is Thomas Jones. The defenses will definately have to play more pass than they would have without Brett starting.

Be Careful ....Remember Cotchery had over 80 catches and and over 1100 yards with a much weaker offense last year. I don't see his numbers going down this year and I expect more TD's

I Perfer Cotchery over Coles, now even more that I am hearing he is all sucked up at the Jets for releasing his buddy Pennington-That just makes me wonder if he will put it all out on field come Sunday's , not  give his 110 percent?
