Kevin Barlow traded to Jets for undisclosed draft pick in 2007 . Ho Hum ! Guess he moves ahead of Blaylock on the Jets depth chart eventually . Would have been more exciting if the Jets picked up Duckett or even Musa Smith from the Ravens . This trade says more about Gore and his value now that he has cemented the starting spot for the 49'ers . At least they had the good sense to dump Barlow's 3 yds per carry avg and not give him 10 or 12 carries in a semi platoon system with Gore . I expect the niners to get Gore about 20 to 25 touches per game and if he stays healthy , he will be very productive with that many touches . It definitely moves him up in my own tier system . I would think he would up in yours .

Gore is a good fantasy football pick and this move solidifies that. Being a niner fan, I am pleased they made this move.

When/If Barlow passes the physical, I'm sure there will be some changes in his (and Gore's) projections.

“I am hosting one league on NFL.com as well. Personally I thing there projections are way out of sync and have been less than reliable. I completely ignored them all year and instead took input from the LA at FFS which has proven to be much more accurate”. (Hooked 5 year Member)
