Dallas: Miles Austin is having a hard time dealing with the attention he gets as the Cowboys #1 WR. If he’s really to take the next step and become a legit NFL #1 WR, he needs to learn how to beat the coverage. The next few weeks will be telling for him. Roy Williams is enjoying it though as it means he’s open more often and is actually having some fantasy success. The team has said it wants to get back to being more balanced in the offense. They’ve been passing more and running less in recent weeks and expect them to make a concentrated effort to run the ball more, especially with Marion Barber.

New York Giants: Rumors abound that the Giants are looking to get 3rd RB Danny Ware more carries at the expense of Ahmad Bradshaw’s playing time the second half of the season. But I’ll need to see it to believe it myself. Brandon Jacobs has really turned it around in the last few games and looks like he’s primed a strong second half of the season. Remember, this is the time of year when Eli Manning usually starts becoming very mediocre. I’ve been waiting for him to put together a complete season for 3 years in a row now and I have to say I’m not expecting this year to buck the trend. But it may be another week for that to happen as the Giants are coming off their bye and face a weak Atlanta pass defense this week.

Philadelphia: After consulting a couple of specialists, Brian Westbrook is expected to make a full recovery from his second concussion in the last 4 weeks. He is expected to miss at least the next 3 games. LeSean McCoy will take over as the starter and expect to see some more of Leonard Weaver as well.

Washington: RB Clinton Portis will miss week 11 as he recovers from his own concussion suffered week 9. There’s been no timetable for his return and both Portis and the team say that there is no hurry to rush him back after what Brian Westbrook has recently gone through. Ladell Betts will start again this week and be the Redskins feature guy against Dallas.

Chicago: Jay Cutler has thrown 17 interceptions but only 2 have come at home. TE Desmond Clark is Doubtful with a neck injury. RB Garrett Wolfe was placed on injured reserve because of a lacerated kidney injury suffered two weeks ago. Khalil Bell was promoted from the practice squad to take his place as the #3 RB.

Detroit: Matt Stafford’s knee isn’t preventing from playing in games but it isn’t completely healed up and while he’s struggling right now, you have to applaud his toughness. Calvin Johnson is almost completely healed up from his own knee injury and I expect him to have a strong second half of the season. Kevin Smith continues to be a workhorse and that should pay off this week against lowly Cleveland.

Green Bay: Jermichael Finley is Probable and expected to return to game action this week. Finley has missed the last 3 weeks because of a knee injury and while he was showing signs of becoming fantasy relevant before the injury I’d wait until I see how his knee holds up and how well he produces before thinking about him as anything more than a waiver wire sleeper. Ahman Green is Questionable with a groin injury and if he can’t play Brandon Jackson would be the top backup to Ryan Grant.

Minnesota: Bernard Berrian’s lingering hamstring injury is something he’s going to probably have to deal with the rest of the season. Berrian is listed as Questionable on the injury report but is expected to start. His fantasy production has been very disappointing because of it this season and Sidney Rice has clearly bypassed him as the top WR for Minnesota.

Atlanta: Michael Turner is Doubtful and will miss week 11 with an ankle sprain. Turner could miss anywhere from 1-4 weeks. Right now, I’d say he misses 2 games before coming back. With Jerious Norwood is Questionable and even if active is unlikely to play much. Jason Snelling becomes the feature RB for this week and makes a pretty decent play. Aaron Stecker will also likely see some action too. WR Roddy White’s knee injury has him Questionable on the injury report but he is fully expected to start week 11.

Carolina: DeAngelo Williams owners had to be irate after Thursday night’s game. DW averaged over 9 yards per carry and looked explosive but only got 13 carries. Why the Panthers would rather have Jake Delhomme throw the ball 42 times instead of running DW 20+ is mind-boggling.

New Orleans: Lance Moore is OUT week 11. Reggie Bush is Questionable and hasn’t been able to practice at all this week because of a knee injury. He is considered a game time decision. This bodes well for Pierre Thomas to bounce back after being a dud against the Rams last week. Marques Colston’s 1 catch for 17 yards was a big disappointment but those weeks happen and with Colston, they are the exception and not the rule more often than not.

Tampa Bay: WR Antonio Bryant is Probable and is expected back in the starting lineup week 11. But considering he’s been on and off the field with a lingering knee injury all season he’s best left on fantasy benches no matter the matchup. The Saints secondary has injuries so there’s a chance the Bucs WR’s could be good, but it’s hard to trust them and Josh Freeman.

Arizona: While Tim Hightower is still the starting RB over Chris Wells it has become apparent who has the more upside as a RB, and it’s Wells. Wells runs with more power and speed than Hightower and is emerging as a viable fantasy option. Hightower still gets carries too, and is the 3rd down RB catching passes out of the backfield and thusly he is also a viable option in the right matchups or in ppr leagues. Early Doucet has taken over as the 4th WR replacing drop prone Jerheme Urban. Anquan Boldin made it thru week 10 without aggravating his ankle injury and while not completely 100% he is not on the injury report at all and will start week 11.

St. Louis: Steven Jackson is starting to find the end zone and since that was all that was missing from him the first 7 games of the season he is back to being a solid RB1 for fantasy purposes. With Keenan Burton gone the rest of the year with a torn patella tendon Brandon Gibson takes over as the starting WR opposite Donnie Avery and he has some sleeper potential, especially in dynasty leagues. If Marc Bulger can continue to show well like he did week 10, he and Avery and Gibson may actually be worth considering for fantasy purposes in future weeks as they have some nice matchups.

San Francisco: Glenn Coffee returns this week to his role as top backup to Frank Gore. Coffee missed last week with a concussion. Josh Morgan has taken over as a starter opposite Michael Crabtree, replacing Isaac Bruce. Bruce is unlikely to even be the 3rd WR as Jason Hill appears to have that spot locked down. Bruce will battle Arnaz Battle to be active on game days as the 4th WR.

Seattle: Julius Jones has a bruised lung and will miss at least one game, probably 2, and possibly more. Justin Forsett takes over as the primary RB with Louis Rankin as the backup in the meantime. Forsett may not hold up long getting feature RB carries on a regular basis as he is a smaller RB but he is explosive and should be owned in all leagues. Tough matchup this week but he is the type of smaller faster RB that could give the Vikings some problems this week. Still, it would be hard to consider him over more reliable options.
