First, would anyone in their right mind start the Chargers D (vs Pats) over the Ravens D (vs Bills) this week?

Second, who would you start Chris Ivory or Ryan Mathews?

Standard scoring league. Thanks for your opinions.

No.

Ivory. The Chargers don't throw to Mathews very much, Ivory gets rushing and receiving yards from Brees.

I read a piece on the Ravens being very overrated this year. They are playing based off their reputation from years past. That being said, the Bills aren't all that good. I know FitzP has put up some good numbers, but their running games is mess. I would not consider the soon to be 2-5 Chargers defense.

Ivory seems to be the better play against CLE. Mathews still didn't practice Wednesday, so expect Tolbert to steal some carries again.

Chargers D has been getting smoked lately and NE didn't seem to skip a beat after replacing Moss with Branch.  Is there a reason to doubt the Ravens vs. the Bills?  I'd start Ivory as Mathews hasn't really shown a whole lot, could lose goal line touches to Tolbert, and could lose touches to the passing game if the Chargers fall behind like they did last week.

NFL.com shows SD ranked #1 in offense and defense. Offense I can understand, but look at who they have played again Cassel (KC), Garrard (JAX), Hass (SEA), Anderson (ARI), Gradkowski (OAK) and Bradford (STL). None of those team really strike fear into opposing defenses. I'll give bradford his due credit. Now if we only had special teams. I think Brady lights up the secondary this weekend too...
