DOES ANY ONE KNOW OF ANY SLEEPERS FOR THE SECOND HALF OF THE SEASON TO LOOK OUT FOR ? I THOUGHT JAMES STARKS GB RB WOULD HAVE BEEN ONE BUT IT SEEMS LIKE THATS NOT GOING TO HAPPEN.

I would start to look at strength of schedule and see what teams might have a good match up along the way. I am sure you can find some guys who have just come on the past few weeks. Names like Fitzpatrick, S. Johnson both at Buffalo. Heck maybe Lee Evans realized the 2010 season FINALLY started! How about Matt Moore or David Gettis. Maybe Steve Smith (CAR) is still floating around the wire. Ben Watson of CLE, maybe even Patrick Clayton in SD? Since they HAVE no running game. RBs are difficult since there is so little there. Starks and Hart (IND) are about the only ones, maybe add Keiland Williams (WAS) to the list. If Favre can't go then it might be T Jackson to get the ball in MIN.

I like Owen Daniels to start bouncing back.  Also, it's just a hunch but I think LaGarette Blount could have a big second half.

Another one could be Darren Sproles. I guess Norv & Co. is loosing faith in Ryan Mathews being able to rush the ball. In fact with such a prolific passing game it could fit Sproles ability even more. He knows the system and his role in the passing game. While Mathews has proven himself as a blocker he jusrt cannot get started. Another poor performance from him. Not sure Tolbert is still the answer either, but it could be intersting to see what happens since San Diego is almost ready to write off any post season and look at winning the NEXT game.

Remember also that HC's at this point of the season will go into full blown CYA mode so expect them to try anything and everything to save their donkey!

Didn't Sproles get quite the chance to shine last year though?  Didn't think he did much last year...but I didn't have him on my team and SD is never on TV here so I could be mis-remembering.

He's a Water-bug...great change of pace guy but I don't think he's anywhere near big enough to be "the guy" and I think even "The Brainfart that is Norv Turner" knows that!

Cody, yeah he isn't really an unknown at this point, but Tolbert has been the rage since Mathews went down early in the year. Sproles is the predominent third down guy, but if the passing game takes center stage as it has been then I would expect Sproles to play a bigger roll in the offense then Mathews. Regardless of what happens Norv still needs to be fired and AJ Smith has to go as well. Of course neither of those will happen.

I would add James Jones to this list. Finley's out and Driver is hobbled.  He could have some potential.
