Both are on a bye this week.
Both have great WR and TE weapons.
Flacco has a better o-line and a defense to give him field position.
Flacco faces Pitts and some other tough games still.  Vick faces the Giants twice.
I am in a non-standard scoring league.  So Vick's rushing yardage only gets me points if he goes over 100 and passes over 300.  The longer the TD pass or run, the more the points.
Vick facing the Bears, Giants, Skins, and Boys scares me -- he may take too many hits.  I can only keep one.
Thoughts?

IF and I think that is a big if, Vick can stay healthy the rest of the way his number could eclipse those of Flacco starting in Week 8. Vick gives you a bit of "shake & bake" when it comes to broken plays. Unlike some NFL QBs he can make something out of nothing and look good doing so. Unfortunately those moment are also the times that could get Vick in trouble and get him hurt. Much like this last chest injury.

Flacco has been hot and cold this season, but does come off two good passing weeks 285 yds, 2 TDs and 250 yds, 3 TDs. He did have a solid December last year for BAL with 8 TDs in the month. Looking at his schedule ahead, he gets, CAR, TB, HOU, and CLE as favorable match ups.

Since you don't get any points for yardage under 100 yards then it might be a smarter move to go with Flacco since those points will equate to very little.

Thanks.  Nice response.  I also have D. Jackson, so I get a piece of Vick's production anyway (though in my league, having him throw a 50-yard-plus TD to Desean gets me 50 points -- 25 each).
Tough call.  Going just off schedules, I am leaning toward Flacco.  But the Eagles throw more and if Vick can stay healthy, he will certainly have the better year.  This is a huge payout league so I need to calculate the risks.
Flacco, J. Charles, MJD, D. Jackson, Ocho, V. Shanks, AV, and Giants D.  I am within 30 points of first place in a 16 team league.
Anyone think that Vick has be better schedule?  Also, Kolb itching for playing time doesn't help.

“I am hosting one league on NFL.com as well. Personally I thing there projections are way out of sync and have been less than reliable. I completely ignored them all year and instead took input from the LA at FFS which has proven to be much more accurate”. (Hooked 5 year Member)
