Major disappointment this year!! Have him in both leagues. Is it time to part ways? Here is who is available in each league:

Team 1:
Hart
Blount
Woodhead
Ward
R Williams

Team 2:
Well . . . Basically the same guys . . .

I think you have to hold him. He is still better than any of those guys.

Don't hate , he's a rook. What did you expect?
He should play only for team 2 with those lineups.
Ricky Williams may be your answer for team 2. Brown does nothing even with a 60/40 carry split. Brown is in injury mode this time of year. Ricky looked better the past couple weeks so he may help your production especially if he gets more of the work load.

Oh I'm not hating on him Larry, more on Norv. Dude is averaging 4.7 YPC. Get him the rock!! But Norv just abandons the run completely at the first sign of competition. I wish this was a keeper league, but I am 3-4 and 2-5 respectively and looking to make some changes. . . .

It's the poor play calling and the fact they are babying him back to health and for good reason. While I am not an AJ Smith fan, the man knows talent, so he had good reasons why they pegged him in the draft. Still peeved they let LT walk. At some point this year SD needs to establish a running game. Mathews would still seem the likely candidate. Although we know Tolbert has the gusto to make the most of his carries, as we saw early in the year and the guy is producing better than Mathews, granted all near the goal line, but scoreboard is scoreboard. I wouldn't give up on quite yet.

I'm with everyone else and don't see anyone that you listed as a better option.  I wish that Mathews or Tolbert would take charge so that the other could be dropped, but that's fantasy football.

I might trade someone to get Matthews and just hold onto him and wait. What I'm saying is don't just CUT him, offer him and another player and see if you can't get someone more reliable. Is there a team that's RB heavy in either league?

good news on Matthews, he has finally practiced on a Wed and also yesterday. Norv has claimed previously that when Matthews could get a full week of practice in he will be used in a feature back role.

The only question now is , DO YOU BELIEVE NORV?

Do I believe Norv? Nope, I don't. I still believe Tolbert will get some carries, last 2 weeks have netted 5 carries for 8 yards and 2 TDs. I don't really call that cutting into Mathews work, the staff has been unhappy with his running. Guess the offensive line knows how to pass block but not run block because it just amazes me they cannot get any running game started, traditionally this has been their strength. Guess we are back to the 80s and the second coming of Air Coryell. Too bad Air Turner doesn't have the same ring to it.

tell me about it, the week I roll Tolbert and Matthews vs. (at that time) the worst run D in the league, Oakland, these guys fall flat. In spite of that Matthews is the future and I'm in a keeper league.
