WOW! How loopy is THIS?

Shaun Alexander may actually play this week. According to Mike Sando of the Tacoma News Tribune (with a special assist to KFFL.com's "NFL Hot off the Wire" page; which is one of the best free informational pages you'll find anywhere) Alexander says he may play this week and credits the power of prayer to helping heal up his foot. The broken bone in his foot is a small crack in a bone in his foot and supposedly isn't hurting him anymore. More will come on this bizarre story as the week progresses, but for those with Xander, there is at least hope that maybe he doesn't miss any time. Whether he's going to be the player we've come to expect over the last several years though is another question.

Speaking of BIZARRE...

Terrell Owens. Allergic reaction? Suicide attempt? Who knows for sure this soon? Heck it could be that TO was sitting there watching Sportscenter, his finger hurting, and saw that the big NFL stories were Chris Simms' recovery from having his spleen removed, Shaun Alexander's foot, and the announcement of Kurt Warner staying as the starting QB in Arizona, and went beserk because the plate inserted to his finger got pushed off the Headlines.

We know TO is just a tad media obsessed (just watch his press conference, and how all this morning he's usurped every other story in sports today), so could it be that TO saw he wasn't on Sportscenter and started in with "WHAT ABOUT ME??!! I've got a broken finger, and I may play! That's not news?! Where's the news about ME?". Perhaps he got up, raged around the room for a moment and accidentally tripped over an object in his living room, bumped into the mantle over his fireplace, and fell to the floor. Maybe the pills were sitting precariously close to the edge of mantle and because he forgot to replace the cap, the bottle was open. Maybe it tipped over, the pills spilled, and all of them fell right into his open mouth as he was agonizing in pain on the ground. He choked and swallowed? And that's the real story?

Now, let's be serious. This last bit about TO was parody, but I figured since everyone else is speculating on it and that we won't likely know the real story for quite a while, I'd at least throw a curveball.

Like I said: Never a dull moment.

Parody aside , I believe without a doubt that this was a grab for headlines and attention . Good thing that his PUBLICIST just happen to be nearby . I wish that the morning headlines were true but I knew better from the get go . He just will not stop because it always has to be about him .

That's real nice to wish something bad on someone. TO has had his moments, but still i believe him on this one. Give the guy a break!

OK, Lets see... Hmmm.... He was on the phone with his "Publicist" when the "Accidental Overdose" happened... not when the "Trained medical professional" was there tending to his hand.... Sorry Tony, have to disagree with you here, I can't give the guy a break, the guy has obviously not heard the story of the little boy who cried "wolf" too many times, and now even if it is true, nobody believes him. I don't wish him ill will, but this is the reason I will never draft T.O. or any troubled players (check the Cincy Bengals roster on that one) for my Fantasy team.

The guy is an embarassment to the NFL and a disgrace ful example to young football players. I look forward to the day he no longer plays. But he may go into the booth with Micahel Irvin....its bad both ways.

Fantasy Football News like no other! Now he's upset because his girlfriend dumped him and didn't even take the time to see how he's doing. What a joke!
