Standard scoring league.  I would be giving up Peyton and getting Chris Johnson in return.  Big Ben is riding my bench every week and my RB position is extremely weak with Best, T Jones, R Brown, Forsett, Lynch and Wells as my current RBs.  I am two games out of the playoffs currently.  Seems like he might be getting slightly the better end of this trade but I pretty much have to do something to improve my RB situation and I am comfortable starting Ben the rest of the way.

Thoughts for or against?

What does the TA say?  Could you include Forsett,  Lynch, or Wells and get his starting QB back for back up in case of injury?  Since you didn't list your complete roster, I can't see where you need help.  As a rule of thumb, a RB is more valuable than a QB, since the differential between a stud RB and an average RB is greater than a Stud QB and an average QB.  I like the trade, but would try to get as much for Peyton as I could.

I would do it. You really need a stud RB. To bad S Smith NYG got hurt. Hopefully it's nothing serious. Is Garrard/Freeman/Fitz available for QB on waiver?

“I am hosting one league on NFL.com as well. Personally I thing there projections are way out of sync and have been less than reliable. I completely ignored them all year and instead took input from the LA at FFS which has proven to be much more accurate”. (Hooked 5 year Member)
