12 team, PPR league.  Daniel Thomas or DeAngelo Williams as my FLEX this week?  These are my only two FLEX options.  Thomas is coming off an injury, but going against a weak Jets run D.  DeAngelo is always iffy, but has put together two nice performances in a row.  I've been burned by both before, sadly.

QB: M.Ryan, R.Fitz - RB: D.McFadden, L.McCoy, D.Williams, D.Thomas, B.Tate - WR: M.Wallace, D.Bowe, AJ Green, N.Washington, V.Cruz - TE: F.Davis - K: R.Lindell - DEF: Detroit

I would think D-Will if I had to make that choice...back to back good (not great) games

Thomas scares me a bit coming back, off injury and off the bye week. We says he's good to go and put up good numbers in week 2 and 3, so maybe if things go well this week in practice and there is a positive outlook he could be set in the flex. But D Will has the potential and talent to put together big games. Although I don't consider his 9-115 a "big game" because of Newton bogarting the running game and taking those carries for himself (as well as the TDs). What's worse is with all they passing CAR is doing D Will isn't part of the passing game, Stewart is more so than Williams. I would lean towards Thomas, based on how bad the Jets running defense is (dead last in FP/PG).

I think Thomas is a legit talent and I love the matchup.  The injury of course is a concern.  I watch his progress this week, and I play him unless he is out or has too many missed practices.
