Here's the deal.  14 team .5 ppr start 1QB 2RB 3WR 1TE.  I have an offer on the table to give up Legarrette and Lumpkin for Maclin and Heath Miller (bye week fill in).

Tebow, Andre, Nicks, Crabtree, Plaxico, Damian Williams, DeMarco Murray, Jahvid Best, Legarrette Blount, Kregg Lumpkin, Montario Hardesty, Jermichael Finley

If I do this deal, I can then trade Crabtree for either JStew or Tolbert, my team would look like this:

Tebow, Andre, Nicks, Maclin, Plaxico, Williams, DeMarco, Best, Hardesty, JStew/Tolbert, Finley.

I like solidofying that 3rd WR spot but am I giving up too much depth at RB considering the question marks surrounding Best, Murray and Hardesty.  Would swapping Crabtree for Stewart or Tolbert add some justification to this move to make it worth it so I can add some depth at RB?

Keep in mind, 14 team league with 3 WR spots starting.  That 3rd WR spot can make all the difference..

I think the second deal makes the first one manageable. Granted, I hate giving up a RB like Blount, but what if the injuries persist? What if Lumpkin is really no better than what he showed last week when thrust into the starting role? You trade questions to get a solid WR3 in Maclin, and then you trade Crabtree to get depth at RB.

I like the deals here. I say make them.

Great, thanks.  It's unorthodox but def well thought out.  I'm glad you can see my thought process and intentions here.  Thanks for the vote of confidence, gonna pull the trigger now..

“I am hosting one league on NFL.com as well. Personally I thing there projections are way out of sync and have been less than reliable. I completely ignored them all year and instead took input from the LA at FFS which has proven to be much more accurate”. (Hooked 5 year Member)
