Well, it was looking promising last week but three 4th quarter comebacks turned what could have been 12-2 into what actually turned out to be 9-5 for me in week 9. That puts me at a respectable, but unremarkable, 85-45 so far on the season. I'm a bit behind on my goal of 180 correct so I'm hoping week 10 proves to be a bit better for me. Here are my week 10 NFL Game predictions:

San Diego 27, Oakland 22
Philadelphia 35, Arizona 17
Dallas 23, Buffalo 21
Kansas City 21, Denver 17
Houston 30, Tampa Bay 20
Jacksonville 17, Indianapolis 10
New Orleans 31, Atlanta 28
Pittsburgh 21, Cincinnati 17
St. Louis 23, Cleveland 20
Carolina 24, Tennessee 17
Miami 23, Washington 17
Baltimore 24, Seattle 13
Chicago 27, Detroit 24
NY Giants 22, San Francisco 19
New England 27, NY Jets 21
Green Bay 35, Minnesota 20

As for the Survivor Pool Lock of the week, Atlanta came thru in grand fashion and I'm glad I resisted the temptation to take Kansas City last week. If only the Giants had beaten the Seahawks back in week 5, I'd be dead on with the locks, but they didn't, so I am now 8-1. I have now used:

Week 1: Pittsburgh (W)
Week 2: San Diego (W)
Week 3: Baltimore (W)
Week 4: Chicago (W)
Week 5: NY Giants (L)
Week 6: Green Bay (W)
Week 7: New Orleans (W)
Week 8: Houston (W)
Week 9: Atlanta (W)

I won't use any of those teams again. While I am tempted again this week by both Carolina and Jacksonville, it's really hard for me to say they are a "lock" to beat anybody until I have exhausted all other more probable lock's with available teams. And there is one. As much as it pains me, and as much as the Eagles have certainly done little to inspire confidence, I seem to remember a similar situation back on Thanksgiving night in 2008 (the last time Arizona travelled to Philadelphia for a regular season game against the Eagles). If anyone remembers that game, it wasn't even as close as the 48-20 final score may make you think. History likely repeats itself in 2011.

My Survivor Pool Lock for week 10 is: the Philadelphia Eagles over the Arizona Cardinals

Best of luck to everyone in their picks!

I need to get my bleep together here. I have about 4 versions of this floating around on different media. If I don't have it with me, gimme about 2 hours and I will update it with week 10 picks. Gotta work about 80 minutes.

“I am hosting one league on NFL.com as well. Personally I thing there projections are way out of sync and have been less than reliable. I completely ignored them all year and instead took input from the LA at FFS which has proven to be much more accurate”. (Hooked 5 year Member)
