Started season 3 - 0
Nest four games 0 - 4 leaving me at 3 - 4...wanted to throw in towel
Next four games 4 - 0 and made playoffs!
Sometime scheduling can do weird stuff!
Second seed and a bye in first week of playoffs!
Won second round this week!
Next week...Championship Game for the big prize!
And bonus...had three highest one week totals of all single games! and had highest season point total in the league!
Never give up!

Well I haven't, but looks like I will limp into the playoffs with a 4-9 record.  Getting in with 6 straight losses.  Got in for 3rd highest total points in the league for the year, but not much hope of getting any farther with my luck so far.  Just lost Forte for the next couple of weeks.

Tough to have a stretch like that but as the Captian of the NSEA Protector Peter Quincy Taggart said: "Never give up! Never surrender!"

Glad you made it in!

Great motto, but I could not subscribe to it this season after Week 6. Even early on in the year I was struggling. Points were not easy to come by and my players I had banked on were not coming through.

After 4 weeks I was 1-3 and already 129 points back of the top point scorer. The next 4 weeks were just as bad. It was another 1-3 performance and now I sat 332 points out of the top spot. Playoffs were not be at week 8.

Now it might be wrong to toss in the towel afte 6 weeks with so much football remaining. But I realized that no matter what moves I made, no matter how much money I spent on the wire I would not improve my team enough to finish in the top 3 spots or the playoffs.

I wrote the season off after 6 weeks, but I did not quit on my league or the other owners and commish duties. In some leagues I have played on this can happen and it's very frustrating to the other owners.

Regardless, I had FFS to fall back on, but have been a bit MIA due to other responsibilities but still try to put in as much time as possible to help those owners who are vying for a fantasy playoff spot. Best of luck to all who are headed into week 14 as a playoff team.

Remember there is always next year.

“I am hosting one league on NFL.com as well. Personally I thing there projections are way out of sync and have been less than reliable. I completely ignored them all year and instead took input from the LA at FFS which has proven to be much more accurate”. (Hooked 5 year Member)
