Seems we have enough people on here who can give some good insight to local teams, possibly we can get some participation in that regard from everyone?

As an example, I'm a Steelers fan and pay attention to them on a regular basis, and while I am more on the IDP side of fantasy football, I do watch my team.

One thing to remember about this years Steelers is they have a new offensive coordinator in former Chiefs Head Coach Todd Haley.
There already appears to be some friction between he and Roethlisberger changing terminologies to suit Haley and making everyone else learn it rather than Haley changing his terminology to fit the veteran offense.

Looks like the Steelers are going to go with there 5 best on offensive line, this involves moving Willie Colon from tackle to guard, and employing the two rookies in first round pick Decastro and second round pick Adams to left tackle. Kinda worries me a rookie protecting Bens blind side.

Looks to be a running back by commitee this year with Isaac Redman getting the majority of the carries. With Mendenhall being a big question to play this season, the Steelers may go out and get a veteran backup such as a Cedric Benson if the young backs they drafted this and last year do not show improvement.

Mike Wallace is quickly wearing out his welcome amongst fans in Pittsburgh as he's whinning about signing his one year tender after no other teams would pay him "Larry Fitzgerald Money".

On the defensive side of the ball, the front 7 are getting younger and better, which is a scary thing to think about, the big question is can the secondary hold it together for one more year, and can one of the young corners replace the departed Willie Gay?

That's all I have for now, will update as I can.

Hey Robert; Funny, last week on a local Az site I was asking why am I reading about Ryan Williams running and cutting 8 months removed from patella tendon surgery in a national media outlet before seeing it in the home town news..
I shutter to say; I do like the route PIT took in drafting the OLine-
Maybe DeCastro was a little high at 13, I really liked him here. settle for Floyd, On paper the Cards look to employ a very dangerous 4 Wide set with Fitzgerald, Floyd, Roberts and Doucet. Wells and Williams on the mend Stephens-Howling maybe be seen more in the back field. I'm slating Skelton as QB1 right now- nothing but upside here?

Interesting idea Robert.  Or maybe by division?   Suppose we may have to wait a little bit until more people filter back to FFS as the season approaches.  I like the idea though.

I can take the bay area teams- 9ers and Raiders. Don't plan on hearing much about the Raiders though. The season is a coming and more exciting news will be on the way.

While I won't be supporting the Chargers (denoted by no NFL logo this season) on the field, I will be more than happy to provide the regional insight, updates and opinions. Hopefully all of you won't get tired of me riding ownership to get AJ and Norv out of town.

If AJ and Norv leave will you re-support the Bolts Throwball?

Yes I would. Call it a fair weather fan if you want. I am tired of their bad coaching decisions and moves. I know the Bolts are not the only team in the NFL in this position, but since AJ moved in and ousted guys he didn't hire, I did not like him or the hiring of a former Raider as our head coach. So no support for the Bolts this year, but I will support MY fantasy players. This way I am not let down over the course of the season.

Watch San Diego go out and make a Super Bowl run now! LOL.

I can say this as I was brutal on the Rams back in 1999 for not going out and getting a proven veteran QB to replace Trent Green when he went down in the preseason. I thought they were crazy to go with the former grocery bagger (Kurt Warner) and questioned whether Dick Vermeil had a clue left in his head.

We know now who was the one without a clue at that time! Twas me!

Yeah, that would be my luck, but I feel their run at the Super Bowl ended a few years ago. They had experience on both sides of the ball and were putting up some strong numbers, but could not get it together and ended up tanking in the playoffs. I see too many holes with the Chargers team. Just looking offensively we don't have a proven rushing game and another group of woulda-coulda-shoulda WRs. Jury is still out on Gates, I beleive he is on the backside of his career now and won't put up numbers we have seen in the past when he was such a dominate player. Defensively, they are a mess.
