Back in February I posted a forum regarding players to look out for in 2012.  Since then the draft has occurred, certain players have moved in free agency, and the health of others has become more clear (i.e. Mendenhall).  Back in February many of us were talking about the likes of Isaac Redman, and Doug Martin but those names are now in the forefront of many peoples minds with an ADP in a (10) team league of probably the (4th-5th) round.

As me all know one of the keys to a successful season is drafting those players that aren't necessarily on everyones target list who can become a mid season starter and carry you into the playoffs.  I have been participanting off and on in (10) team mocks since Febraury and I see the following players with an ADP of round (8)+ that I think could be gems to have on your roster in 2012.

Please feel free to add players you are targeting so that we are all well prepared come the day of our real drafts.

David Wilson-RB Giants-My thought here is do we really think Bradshaw will play a full 16 game season?  Having a back up like Wilson on a high powered offense like the Giants could help with those bye week issues and make for a solid # 2 RB as the season comes to an end.

Felix Jones-His ADP is like round 9 or 10-See remarks above but change the name to DeMarco Murray.

Jacquizz Rodgers-All signs are pointing to more of a passing offense in Atlanta and a RBBC. I really like Rodgers in keeper leagues.

Mikel Leshoure-Granted he has the (2) game suspension to open the season but I just think he is the more talented RB in Detriot and I see him being the primary back by week 7 or 8.   His ADP is probably round 8 or 9.

Titus Young-Speed burner who I think will eventualky overtake Burelson as the # 2 opposite Calvin Johnson. I see Young having the potential to be the Antonio Brown/Victor Cruz of 2012.

Darrius Heyward-Bey-He started to have great rapore with Carson Palmer towards the end of 2011.

Lance Moore-No more Meachum and Moore always seems to be a favorite target of Brees IMO.

Michael Crabtree-The development of Alex Smith and Randy Moss now on the other side could make Crabtree a servicable # 3 that could become a solid# 2 as we get further into the season.

Seattle Defense-Weak division that should give them plenty of opportunities.

Again these players aren't ones that you have to be stressed out going off of the board in the first couple of rounds but more like round 8+ when people in your league start to make the easy draft selections of taking the old reliable veteran since they haven't done their homework.  However, I would much rather have one of these guys to round out my team due to their great upside.

Good list to start with James. I have just started watching player news more closely the past few weeks. It could be the most interesting draft we have had this coming year. With many top quality QBs and many WRs, I will be curious to see how the ADP lists come out pre-draft. Thanks for the list James.

Good stuff guys as we all know its those late rounds where you can find
some gems and where all the work begins. Rogers is a guy that interests
me as well. More passing and Turner has father time starting to go
against him.

Bey and Crabtree the Seattle defense are good ones. They are all on my sleeper articles coming out later this month.

No way Rodgers though. He will have no value unless Turner or Snelling gets injured.
Young is interesting, but might need another year to develop.

I look forward to your article James.....those sleepers like a Peyton Hillis in 2010 for example can make all the difference to your Fantasy Football teams success.

I have my eye on a couple of these guys as well.  More in the sleeper range I am watching Titus Young, with how pass happy detroit has been.

Others like Greg Little and Vincent Brown are interesting.  I like how Little has trimmed down and has a new QB.  I never liked McCoy.  Just hope little has worked on catching the ball.

Brown could also be good.  I feel like Floyd can never stay healthy, who knows about Gates as well.  Brown is still more in the sleeper range though.  Think he would need some oppurtunies fall his way (injuries, River's of old)

Brown is a sleeper, I agree. I like him too, did last year. With unproven FAs entering this season, none of which have stepped up previously to take on a #1 WR role, I like Brown's chances. We will have to see how things shake out on training camp.

Based on some recent reports on Randall Cobb could be taking over the slot position currently held by Donald Driver.

Randal Cobb in a (10) team league currently could easily go undrafted or be had in a round like 15+. He might be worth a flyer as a bench player that could become something later in the year. I really like Cobb in keeper leagues as 2013 would be his 3rd year when he could become someone like Victor Cruz or Antonio Brown of 2011.

Based on reports out of the Falcons coaching staff and ESPN Jacquizz Rodgers is receiving a lot of praise. If your in a keeper league I see great value in selecting Rodgers as he could easily produce for you in 2012 but could be gold in 2013 and set you up nicely.

Given his current ADP in (10) team leagues why wouldn't you want to take a flyer on him in round 14+ especially if you again are in a keeper league?
