I am taking of a team that is a keeper league. It's a regular scoring league no PPR. You cant keep any players you drafted in the first 2 rounds of the leagues draft from the previous year. You also lose a draft pick in the round that you drafted your keep in the previous year so there is some strategy involved. here is the info I was given and the players currently on the team and which round I would lose my pick if I keep them... I dont know how this guy got 3rd in the league with this team...

Matt Ryan RD3

Ryan Grant RD2

Shonn Green RD3

Dexter Mcluster Rd11

Mike Tolbert Rd7

Doug Balwin Rd13

Marques Colsten Rd2

Desean Jackson (Cant Keep)

Hakeem Nicks (Cant Keep)

Torrey Smith Rd13

Scott Chandler Rd13

Jeremy Shockey Rd13

Matt Bryant Rd13

Broncos Rd13

Lions Rd13

If you elect to keep 2 or more players from the same round you will lose 1 round earlier pick. must keep at least 2 but can keep up to 4 and only 1 player per position. This team has the 5th overall pick in the draft and its a snake draft in a 14 team league.

Who would you keep??

Ugh...3rd, really? I think I would start with Marques Colston, who should be the top WR for Brees in NO. With the possibility to put up 5000 yards passing I like his opportunity to put up some healthy numbers as long as he remains healthy. Only played 8 games last year and has yeat to go 16 games. Still at 28 I think he could catch 80 for 1100-1200 yards and 10-12 TDs.

I think I would also keep Matt Ryan. I pick him over the RBs, because the RBs are not good. Ryan has studs at the wideout position with Julio Jones and Roddy White, let's not forget Gonzo at TE. I think Ryan could be a top 10 QB this season.

From your rules you can't keep Colston but I would not keep him anyway since round two is just too high to take him.

I would keep Ryan and T. Smith.

I totally agree with James here. Those are the only two to keep.

I would consider keepiNg smith and Denver or detroit. I can't see keeping Ryan for third round pick. At least with two 13 round picks you are only losing picks in round 12 and 13. I'd rather throw away a late pick than lose 3rd round for a qb who is 6th 7th round pick.

Was Ryan grant really a 2nd round pick?
