I had to share this with you guys.

Stumbled upon a crazy league while perusing some public ones to cure the itch until my main ones draft and you're not gonna believe this. 10-team, PPR, all TD 6 pts, and...1 pt per completion. Here's where it gets crazy. Starting positions are....

QB, QB, QB, WR, WR, WR, RB, RB, RB, TE, TE, 2 flex spots for WR/RB/TE and 2 more flex for QB/WR/TE. Oh, and a K and 2 DEF for good measure. It's utterly insane. To give you an idea, here's some examples...Brees is projected for 915 pts, Foster is projected for 400. Flacco is projected for 600 pts and Sproles is projected for 230 pts.

I couldn't resist joining in on the mayhem. We drafted tonight and here's how I ended up (9th pick).

QB: Romo

QB: Ryan

QB: Griffin

WR: Harvin

WR: Stevie Johnson

WR: Crabtree

RB: Bradshaw

RB: Ridley

RB: K. Smith

TE: Gonzalex

TE: Keller

WR/RB/TE: Bess

WR/RB/TE: R. Jennings

QB/WR/RB/TE: Freeman

QB/WR/RB/TE: Flacco

K: Bryant

DEF: Giants

DEF: Falcons

BENCH: Ponder, Moore, Little, D. Baldwin, J. Baldwin, Ronnie Brown

Can anyone draft anyone? Is this a salary cap style of league where anyone can have any player they want on their team? Don't understand a standard serpentine style draft where you start 3-5 QB's. That's just a little nutty.

Russ, it's COMPLETELY nutty. We could draft anybody. Given the HUGE disparity between QB scoring and everyone else I took QBs with my first 6 picks. Then I grabbed a 7th QB later for bye-weeks etc. I'm starting 5 every week (of course) and I figure I'll have plenty of trade opportunities considering a minimum of 30 QB must be started every week (10 teams x 3 QB) and I have 7 of them.

I'm projected to take Week 1 by a score of 327 to 267.

WOW, its all trading year long. No one left to pick up and I would not dare drop anyone. That could be the one player that beats you next week. 368 to 367

WEIRD!!!!!! Not game to that one. Let us know how it goes this year.

“I am hosting one league on NFL.com as well. Personally I thing there projections are way out of sync and have been less than reliable. I completely ignored them all year and instead took input from the LA at FFS which has proven to be much more accurate”. (Hooked 5 year Member)
