Hey guys, I'm in a 8 team league with 20 rounds. I have alot of roster positions so here they are:

QB, WR, WR, RB, RB, TE, W/T, W/R/T, Q/W/R/T, K, DEF, IR, IR, BN, BN, BN, BN, BN, BN, BN ,BN, BN

The W/T means you can take a WR or TE, then W/R/T is WR or RB or TE, then Q/W/R/T , and you can take a QB with that flex spot. So since I can take two QB's and I have pretty much 3 flex spots. What would be your strategy on who to take the first few rounds. Should I stack up on RB or go with a top ranked QB first? I read the 2012 strategy guide on this site and it says to go with RB. I was going to go with RB first but then they changed to where you can have two QB's. What would you guys do?

Anytime you post a question like this you need to post your scoring system. It matters in a question like this. How many points per yards? Is it PPR or standard scoring?

It really helps us give you a more accurate answer.

But, if you are in a Two QB league you should grab one very early...

We are the using the standard yahoo scoring with a few minor changes in the scoring, but not much at all. Do you need every piece of scoring for it? I can post it if you like. Hope you can help.

Passing: 25 yard per point

Rushing: 10 yards per point

Receiving: 10 yards per point

Also have points for 40+ yard rushing attemps, touchdowns and receptions. Rest is standard scoring.

If I remember standard yahoo is non-ppr and 1 point per ten yards rushing and receiving?

I would take 2 Qb's and 2 Rb's in the first 4 rounds. Post your scoring system in your signature so anytime you ask a question it automatically pops up. Just basic scoring rules like how manypoints QB's, RB's, and Wr's get for yardage and td's and if it is standard scoring or PPR.

Thanks James, I guess what I'm asking is would you take a QB or RB the first round? I know it depends on what position I have the first round, but I'm thinking if the top 3 or 4 QB's are taken I should go for a RB. I'm kind of new at this, so trying to get a strategy.

JTF,

It all depends on who is available. If Brady, Rodgers, and Brees are all gone then I grab a RB, then QB in round # 2.

What do you think about the ebook thats available on here? Saying to take one of the top three RB's first? Thoughts on that?

Not if you can start 2 QB's.

I have played in a 2 Qb league for 12 years. I have been in the championship game 5 years in a row and I was the only one to figure out to draft a Qb early while everyone was grabbing RB's.

Leagues where you can start 2 QB's every week are different.

Last year I took Rodgers with the first pick in round # 1. Round # 2 I grabbed Romo and dominated the rest of the year.

It all depends on how your draft flows and who is available.

Ok cool, your helping me out here. So if I can get a one of the top three QB's in the first round, do it, if not, go for a RB. So yoru saying also if I could get two top rated QB's first two rounds to do that? If not, I'll take a top rated QB and then a RB. Last question, where do you do your WR?
