I am in a 10-team keeper style league in which you retain 8 players at the end of each season and re-draft 8 at the beginning of each season. Your draft position is determined on your finish for the previous year, so this season I select from the 5th spot every round. My keepers this year are P. Rivers, R. Rice, A. Bradshaw, K. Smith, A. Brown, T. Smith, J. Nelson, and J. Witten. We are not a PPR league. I have traded up to the #1 overall pick by trading J. Nelson. I also get to keep my #5 pick in the 1st round. My plan is to draft T. Richardson with the #1. With the departure of Nelson, I need a WR, but our pool is not terribly deep. My best choices would be D. Thomas, T. Young, J. Blackmon, V. Jackson, and D. Jackson. My question is should I keep Richardson, or if D. Martin drops to that 5th spot, draft him and trade Richardson for A.J. Green, which I have on the table?

Welcome Tater! AJ Green is a great player and I think Richardson is going to be the true "Bell Cow" for the Browns. Martin will share with Blount. New coach is a Belichick clone and will not have one RB carry the load. Good luck and welcome to our site.

Richardson did have knee scoped, but you sound like you are looking for future starts, which I believe Richardson is. I could see the Browns play it very safe and cautious with T Rich to start he season. Martin seems to be the man in TBB, even with Blount there. I would not be surprised to see Martin touching the ball 20-25 times a game. I also believe they have a better offense that will allow Martin more chances. Both are good and both can make an impact, but right now I give Martin a slight advantage.

“I am hosting one league on NFL.com as well. Personally I thing there projections are way out of sync and have been less than reliable. I completely ignored them all year and instead took input from the LA at FFS which has proven to be much more accurate”. (Hooked 5 year Member)
