10 team league, had pick 10, standard yahoo scoring (0.5ppr), here's my team. I'm considering offering Gates for Hernandez. Thoughts (on both team and trade option please)?

QB - Ryan, RGIII
RB - McFadden, Forte, Doug Martin, R. Jennings, D. Brown, Ronnie Brown
WR - Julio Jones, AJ Green, N. Washington, R. Moss, Cobb
TE - Gates

We start QB/RB/RB/WR/WR/TE/flex (RB/WR)/K/D

Thanks!

Ryan is solid at QB and RGIII has the upside, but it remains to be seen if he will have the same impact as Newton did last year (doubtful).

2 strong RB's and WR's. Flex will be an issue unless someone steps up. Don't see a lot of upside with the exception of possibly Cobb.

I think Hernandez and Gates are pretty much a wash. Hard to tell which will have a better year. Gates when he was healthy at the end of the season last year was performing at a high level. Use your gut here and make the call. I like both.

Talking heads say Hernandez has the inside track as being a top target for Brady. Still with Gronky, Lloyd and Welker there I am not sure if there are enough balls to go around. I would sit tight with Gates, he is the legit #3 in the NFL at the position now that he is healthy. He is 31 when the season starts, but I think he does have it in him for another fine season. He is Rivers main target in the offense. I think you are strong with him than with Hernandez.

Gates is going to have a HUGE year IMO. Rivers' WR's arent really that talented so he will look for a healthy Gates often.

Gates is HEALTHY, which he hasn't been the last few years.
