My live draft got cancelled over the weekend and now it has changed to online draft and scoring changed to ESPN. No PPR, 10 yards per point for receiving and rushing, 20 yards per point for passing. Need help on different strategy, we are allowed 1 flex position. So would you guys take a QB or RB first round? Still go with 2 QB's or 2 RB's starting off. Just wondering since my scoring changed along with roster positions. Thanks guys

Depends where in the draft you are. If you can start 2 QB, then I follow that strategy, but don't hesitate to change it, if you think the player(s) you want won't be there when the draft comes back to you. I think 7-10 are the best place to pull off a QB/QB start. I had hopes to do this, but realized after I picked at 4, another top QB wouldn't make it back, so I had to alter my strategy and went with a RB. I would have loved to 2 QBs this season, but I could not see a viable way to make it work. Too many other owners were jumping on QBs at the middle/end of round 1 and the start of round 2.

We will have 9-10 teams and I won't know for about an hour where I will be selecting in the first round so I can come back here after 8 pm and I can tell you where I'm selecting. So your saying if I'm selecting in position 7-10 and a good QB is available to grab it and then grab another one. But if not and I selecte 4 or higher to take a RB? Yes I can start one QB and then another QB at the flex spot if I want.

Ok I have the 3rd overall pick in the first round. Strategy? Take a top QB or RB?

I think a top 3 warrants a RB. You could easily make Russ' ebook strategy pay off this year with a top 3. Come back strong with a WR in round 2.

Think so? I figured you would say one of the top QB's. But I'm a amateur at this, I have no idea hahahah. Who would you take, Foster, rice, mccoy?

I thought you said you took a QB at pick 4? Just asking, maybe 3rd overall changes things? Who would you take?

I did take a QB 4th, Brees. But if I were top 3 then it would have been whichever of those 3 RBs were left. I only say RB because there are 3 tops ones, just like there are 3 top QBs, but there is a deeper talent pool at the QB position, so you can wait a round, or 2 and still pick up a quality QB that could finish top 10. That probably can't be said about a RB in round 3 for example. A balanced draft RB/QB/WR in the first three rounds is a good starting point, you should/could have 2 top players and another very high tiered player.

I know the first guy in our draft will take rodgers, so I have a chance at foster, rice, or mccoy. But I think foster may go 2nd. Thoughts? I'm hesitant with foster but not sure. Mccoy or rice? I will try to follow that ebook to see how it goes.

My wife got the 6th pick in the first round, I'm thinking she should take your strategy of a top QB? and possibly the 2nd round too? Or go with RB?
