I am in a PPR league....10 pts for TDs....and I would like to ask everyone a question...currently I have Felix Jones on my bench and was wondering if I should drop him and pick up Alfred Morris from WAS...I am a little scared to pull the trigger because merry go 'round that Washington loves to play with their RBs....thoughts?

Yup, I would. Morris will get more action week 1 than Jones. Depending on the injury siutation with guys like Hightower, Helu and Royster, Morris could be the starter for a few weeks. Maybe he plays himself in a full time starter...I pull the trigger.

thanks I figured...but I am a little nervous with Shanahan and his bi-polar views on his RBs...I have been burned in the past with him....

Yeah having to deal with Shanny all year as a WAS RB owner is frustrating. Right now none of the other suspects are healthy. Guess it's a wait and see, but Shanny when he finds a RB can usually turn him into a 1000 yard back and has a great track record.

Shanny has not had a 1,000 yard back since 2006 - Tatem Bell was the last one. I agree with Throwball that he can produce yardage in the running game; however, he seems to fall in and out of love with his RB's on a weekly basis and for no reason that he makes public, which simply means that they all can produce under his system, guessing which one will play this week is the tough part. Rember last year when Helu set a RB receiving record for the Skins and Shanny didn't start him the next week.

As far as Jones vs. Morris, neither are good long term plays, but Morris does appear to be the best short-term (1-2 weeks), due to injuries to the other Skin backs. Jones has Murray, who is also a good receiver, so Jones role is mostly spot relief in Dallas. Who knows what Morris' role in Washington will be. I'm willing to bet that Shanny doesn't even know.

Rolling the dice with Morris is probably the way to go. Good luck.

Shanahan hates Fantasy Football and purposely moves running backs in and out. Felix Jones is a decent backup, so you'd be training backup for backup, and Jones can be explosive. Personally I'd keep Jones.

Or if he;s still available, take NY Giants RB David Harris, I think at some point he will replace Bradshaw as the feature back.

I'd probably keep Felix too. More direct line to playing time. He'll get some with Murray around, and a lot, should Murray get hurt. There's what, 4 RBs in Washington that will get time? And a QB that can run.
