Alright guys, so ive been using this site for 4 years and it has been very helpful. I now have a new hurdle which is an Auction draft! They way our league is set up is we have $200 for the first 3 rounds only. After the 3rd round, it will be a regular draft. Any tips on how i should approach draft day? Also, where can i get a rough estimate on how much a player should cost for those 3 rounds.

Thanks

Man, I can't say. In 29 years I have never been involved in an auction style draft. I have only read the words of Russ from his eBook. I do recall someone (maybe on these forums) saying save at least $2 for all bench players so you can outbid the guys who toss a buck at a reserve.

Here is the first site a Internet search turned up. I still approach the draft with a strategy you want to start with be it RB/RB/ or QB/RB or RB/WR. As I have mentioned repeatedly, be flexible.

“I am hosting one league on NFL.com as well. Personally I thing there projections are way out of sync and have been less than reliable. I completely ignored them all year and instead took input from the LA at FFS which has proven to be much more accurate”. (Hooked 5 year Member)
