I am in a 10 player draft, yahoo scoring, no ppr league. With the depth at WR how soon would you draft a graham, davis, or gronkowski? if I have a late pick would you reach in the first or second round?

Same question for another league tomorrow that is a ppr league with 14 player draft and I have the 11 th pick. thanks for your help!

In the 3 drafts (all non-PPR, standard scoring) I have participated in, Graham has not gone lower than the second round. Last night in our 14 team league he went in the first. Gronky has been as lower as round 3. Davis was lasting into round 4 and 5 in two of my drafts. I also wouldn't swear off not taking Gates, I think he is a legit #3 and should be ranked ahead of Davis in my opinion. I don't believe you can go wrong with any of those 4 TEs.

In a 10 team draft I think it is a reach to draft a TE. I think only 1 owner who draft Graham in the 2nd built a successful team, but it's not without question marks in his rushing game. Many will refer to Graham as "another receiver". It depends on what sort of strategy you are entering the draft with. Personally I don't want to draft a TE before round 5, I think I reached last night in our 14 team league with Gates in the 4th.

As for your draft pick at #11 I suspect Graham, Stafford, Murray and Fitz will all be available to draft. Again, it depends on HOW you want to implement your strategy. I wenr RB/RB knowing it was going to be a long time waiting for picks 3 and 4. I knew I could get a lower tiered QB later (which I did in round 6, Rivers). This year is deep on WRs, so grabbing a top one wasn't a concern. The owner who took Graham at 11 came back with Fitzgerald, Marshall and Nicks, opting not to select a RB until Round 5.

“I am hosting one league on NFL.com as well. Personally I thing there projections are way out of sync and have been less than reliable. I completely ignored them all year and instead took input from the LA at FFS which has proven to be much more accurate”. (Hooked 5 year Member)
