the first two picks are going to be foster and mccoy, leaving me Rice and Megatron... THIS IS A PPR LEAGUE...

This is my thinking take Megatron projected 355 on FFS rankings then come back with say Sproles projected 258. 335 + 258 = 593

If i take Rice projected at 319 and then take a wr with round 2 say julio jones, aj green projected at 258. 319 + 258 = 577

it turns out to be about even... i am thinking about taking megatron... what is everyone elses thinking? thanks for the help

Projections that are that close pretty much don't matter. Personally if I can get Rice I take him and Julio or Green if they make it to the end of the 2nd round. Rice-Julio/Green feels really good to me. I am not totally sold on Sproles reproducing what he did last year. I mean I think he'll be good, but not sure about that good. If your lucky he may even drop to your third pick in early 3rd. He's going 28th in ppr leagues which is real close for 12 team league. Not saying he will but there is a chance.

Whatever you do (go with your gut) have a contingency plan just in case those guys gets scooped up, you have a while to wait before your 2nd pick.

I got Sproles in the 4th round in my league, so he could still be available later in your draft. I would have to take Rice and come back with Julio or AJ if you think they would be available. Rodgers only if QB heavy league, 6 pt TD's and points for completions.

think i should try and grab stafford with 2nd round pick at 18 i hate waiting in late rounds to grab a qb and then take a wr at 23?

Brian it all depends on who is on the board. In a PPR league, drafting a QB in the 2nd round is not usually a wise move. You are looking for RBs or WRs still, I would hold off on Stafford , possibly aiming for a lower tiered QB in orde rto draft players who have worthwhile PPR value.

“I am hosting one league on NFL.com as well. Personally I thing there projections are way out of sync and have been less than reliable. I completely ignored them all year and instead took input from the LA at FFS which has proven to be much more accurate”. (Hooked 5 year Member)
