Thanks TBH for the draft sheet... Ok, found out I have the 3rd pick. I'm thinking some will still have some that will draft not taking into consideration the QB flex point advantage.

I'm leaning towards Rodgers, Brees, or Brady with my pick (hmm..could be Foster and Rodgers goes leaving me between Brees & Brady - DA has Brees but...). I'm thinking get a quality RB with pick2, see how the picking goes, and aim for a QB in a later round.

Maybe overly optimistic, but drafting RB's/WR's and if in Round 4, take Ryan or Rivers. If gone, see about either Manning in Round 5 and if not, wait until around Round 8 and take Flacco, Schaub, or Roethlisberger. If not, Luck or Wilson in Round 10 or 11...

Figure most others will be gone or don't thrill me. Any opinions on my logic - just can't see letting good WR/RB's fly off the board...

Thanks!!

Ok if you can start 2 QBs you really almost have to take one with the 3rd overall pick. If you think you can get Ryan or Rivers in those rounds then that's a great plan. Starting a QB at a flex is a huge advantage, especially a good QB

Both Ryan and Rivers were available in both my drafts until around pick 50 or so, but my leagues only start 1 QB. In one draft Rivers didn't go until pick 67, in another Ryan went 70

I don't think Manning lasts until round 5 myself. I think he has too big of an upside, especially in a 2 QB league to linger and drop in a draft. If starting 1 QB, then yeah I could see him there, but 2 QB league it might be tough. Even Rivers, I still consider him a top 10 QB could go round 2 or 3. But Eric is right if you go QB/QB and it works out, then you need to take a RB at 3 and depending on how the draft is going come back with another RB or a starting WR. It's tough, but I think the added points in starting 2 QBs is well worth the risk and outweighs the disadvantages. One thing, don't force the 2 QBs if it doesn't look like it is going to work. I knew this on the way back in round 2 I could not make it work to my liking. I had thoughts of E Manning or Ryan, but I saw neither of them as a QB2 in the second round, so I had to pass on my strategy. I probably could have made it work with either QB, but I believe it would have left me scrambling in round 3 for a RB1.

Eric, here is the difference Rivers went 10 and Ryan went 21 in our league which allows us the opportunity to start 2 QBs.

Wow that's a big difference. In this guys particular league they have a QB and a flex that you could use a QB in, he's saying it's a possibility that some guys won't be aware of that which is possible. In my opinion you can wait a while and take a guy like Cutler for that flex, either way a QB is gonna outscore any other position at flex. I would not grab 2 QBs in the first 2 rounds but I would consider grabbing 1 in the first round and maybe one in the 4th or 5th round depending on who it is. I'd prefer to grab a RB and WR in rounds 2 & 3 after grabbing a QB in round 1

Well, I waited for my second QB and ended up taking a lower end one due to value at the current pick. Drafting left QB's until later than expected, but I just couldn't pull the trigger in place of WR's/RB's until late. I'm looking to pick up Fitzpatrick and drop Quick to cover bye weeks (only Fitz, Cassel, Sanchez are left),

Reviewing my draft, I'm not as happy as I thought I'd be...seems like a few too many question marks and the look of an average team in my opinion. Think I'm going to have some work ahead.

Thoughts on my team - am I being too hard on myself?

Your team looks good, that always happens when you take a top QB in the first round, the team seems a little weak at one or 2 of the other positions. If your scoring is 1 point per 20 yards passing and 6 points per Pass TD then you'll be extremely happy you took Brees!

Thanks and yes, had my choice on Brady or Brees and being a Saints fan (secondly to the Pack), can watch him every week. I waited and waited and finally took Flacco - hoping this year he can be more productive. Still solid, but...

Just not sure with the rest. RB's are a question mark with AP getting/staying healthy, Murray producing (and staying healthy), Martin not losing carries to Blount, Jennings remaining a solid backup later (thought if MJD has a slow start or injury, a worthy pick), etc.

Not sure what to think of my WR's and TE's...

And figure the right pick up is Fitz over Cassel or Sanchez (and do it now since pickings are slim and not sure need another WR - though Amendola might've been better choice than Quick)...

Yeah you are being too hard on yourself CB. I like the 2 QBs you came out of the draft with. I would start both every week. RBs aren't bad, ADP is the wild card, obviously if he can return to something of his previous form, then you are good at that position. Depth is good, like D Will. 3 good WRs Robinson I am not so hot on would much rather have Blackmon in JAX. Quick could be the first drop. Gonzo is still a good TE for ATL, he is still used and knows how to find the endzone. I think you faired very well. Nice draft.
