What's your take on this trade: Was offered Kenny Britt for Peyton Hillis.

Our league is a 14 team league with following positions: QB, WR, RB, TE, 4 W/R/T flex, 5 BN, K, Def.

My team:

QB: Eli Manning, WR: Jennings, RB: Lynch, TE: Finley, 4 W/R/T: Forte, Hillis, Decker, Titus Young BN: Leshoure, Blount, Tamme, Doug Baldwin, Sam Bradford, K: Janikowski, Def: Eagles

Thanks for the advice.

I think it leaves you too weak at RB, especially with Lynch dealing with back issues. Your WR's aren't bad and Britt is just a big unknown.

I do it! Living in TN, my Titans are going to do well w/Locker at the helm, and after Britt's week off, he's going to be fresh and a stud! I hope you take the trade!

Chris, I would wait for some more long-timers (such as Nic) to weigh in on this one. You are in a 14 team league with 4 flex spots and that combination is a little unconventional. Because you only need to start 1 RB each week, the real question here is whether or not you think Britt will outperform Hillis throughout the season. Also, what is your scoring system?

With Nate Washington getting knocked out cold today (I imagine he may miss some time) you have to like Britt's odds to lead the team in targets for the next few weeks. Also, some former Titans worked him out every day last week during his suspension, so I'm not concerned about him sitting next week. Don't expect him to be as dominant as he was at the start of last season, but he will contribute.

Hillis: I really like this guy to have a bounce back year, but he's not going to get touches if they are playing from behind. If you hold on to him, I think you are betting that either their D will toughen up or Charles will experience a set-back. Until we know what Leshoure can do, I think there is a big drop-off from Hillis to Leshoure/Blount.

I agree with Nic, too shallow at rb with this trade. I am not taking away from Britt's value, BUT the RB position tends to have injuries too often. In a 14 team league I doubt you you have many options on the free agent market. WR's are easier to find during the season...aka stevan hill, ogletree, among others from just week 1. Outside of Morris, which was a HUGE surprise, no new rb's of note that were not probably already drafted.
