It was another poor pick up to the Chargers by the Lord of No Rings, AJ Smith. Not sure why he thought in the off season Meachem would make leaps and bounds to jump from a WR3/4 to a consistent WR2. Though 2 games now there no mojo between him and Rivers. Much like his NOS days, he will have a big game now and then, but he can't be relied upon as a consistent WR.
