10 team, PPR, Bonus for long TDs, Start 2 QBs

Disregard my roster in the sig, does anyone no where to change that?!?

QB - Brees, RGIII, Locker

RB - DMC, TRich, Doug Martin, KSmith, Leshoure

WR - Julio, Colston, Washington, Avery

TE - Finley, Pitta

Finally, the deal

I give - Brees, Julio, DMC, Colston

I get - Ryan, RBush, Harvin, Demaryius Thomas

Sounds crazy Right? Hear me out

In my book Brees and Ryan are essentially a wash the rest of the year.

ATL is playing well and will have to continue to sling it with Turner in the

tank. Brees has more "name" value for trading, but I think on the field

value is similar. I think Bush is PPR beast (He has averaged 23.7 fppg

over last 10 games in my league) and has an easier schedule. Miami's

line is not that bad and he is their only weapon maximizing his touches.

Oakland is a mess. I swallowed the DMC kool-aid hook, line and sinker in

the preseason. They have a tough schedule Palmer's arm is terrible, their

WRs are hurt, the o-coordinator sucks, and zone blocking scheme doesnt suit him. I think it is time to sell before his stock sinks lower. Harvin is

getting massive touches and is one of their only weapons. Ponder is

competent and will be able to get him the ball. Julio is more talented but

has to share with ATL other weapons. Julio also now has a thigh injury.

Thomas is a clear upgrade over Colston. Colston hasnt looked right so far

this season and now we know why, foot injury. I could also substitue

Wayne here if you thought he had more value. Overall the Saints look off

this year and while they will be productive, I think they have slipped this

year and do miss Sean Payton.

So am I crazy?

You can change the signature in account settings. Honestly, don't like big trades like this until after three weeks of play. Would prefer you hold off and what does the TA say/recommend?

Trades like this early on are what can win championships. If you wait for the dust to settle and realize you are not holding the winning hand you still lose. I am not saying to be reckless, but playing hunches early in the year can definitely be a play to win move. If you feel you have a top 2-3 team, then I can see being more conservative. Just my humble opinion.

I agree that Ryan and Brees are a wash. Harvin is more consistent than Jones but obviously has less upside. I like Bush for a more consistent year than DMC too, if he stays healthy. Thomas is a definite upgrade over Colston.

Overall, I think the 4 you get will be more steady but there will be weeks when Julio and DMC blow up. It's a gamble I'd take.

I helps your thin WR unit for sure. However, I would not classify Ryan and Brees a wash. Brees may throw the ball 650 times this year. His defense is awful! DMC is a far better option at RB and also is a PPR beast. I can see why u would consider it but I would look at trading A Doug Martin for a WR . I am betting u could get a prett good 1 for him and still keep your core.
