This is what my son did in his first time playing fantasy football with 7 other guys at the restaurant he works at. He could have dropped his 2nd Def or 2nd QB (Cutler,,,he has Rodgers) for Amendola. What would you guys tell your son if he did that? After ribbing him a bit, I told him he'd better play Amendola at his flex (which means sitting the law firm), so he'd have a chance at looking like a genius.

I'd tell him that every owner new to fantasy football makes rookie mistakes and he just made his first one. Laugh it off and learn from it when Lloyd has better weeks most of the time over Amendola. We've all been there and made the rookie mistakes.

I'd tell him if his league is NOT a PPR league to keep Lloyd. I would probably drop the 2nd defense and pick Amendola up, but I would not play him this week,

“I am hosting one league on NFL.com as well. Personally I thing there projections are way out of sync and have been less than reliable. I completely ignored them all year and instead took input from the LA at FFS which has proven to be much more accurate”. (Hooked 5 year Member)
