I am getting rid of Lions D. I want either Falcons or Cards. I like the Cards D more, but their O scares me. How many short fields will they have to protect? For that reason also, I like the Falcons D. That offense can put up points quickly meaning the opposing team starts throwing more which means more oppurtunity. Am I putting too much thought in this? I like Cards but am scared to take them. What do you guys think?

Thanks

I dropped the ATL defense 2 weeks ago and picked up the Cardinals. Hard not to pick ARI with how they have been playing. I don't worry so much about the Cards offense, chances are it will be a low(er) scoring game, much like the 49ers have been playing. I don't see their offense being too exciting, but they have a very stout defense.

But doesn't a high scoring offense make a higher scoring defense because they can put the opposing team in a hole and force them to start throwing. More throws mean more sack/int opportunities. I sure love the Cards D and the pressure they bring though. I also love have Petersen returning kicks.

“I am hosting one league on NFL.com as well. Personally I thing there projections are way out of sync and have been less than reliable. I completely ignored them all year and instead took input from the LA at FFS which has proven to be much more accurate”. (Hooked 5 year Member)
