I have this weird itch to start Amendola in place of Nicks this week!!!!

Am I Nuts???

I am already playing Calvin Johnson and have L. Moore and J. Simpson on the bench

2 WR start PPR 14 teams

Nicks has always felt inconsistent to me, but with so much potential. Eli likes to spread it around (and then there is his foot). I am thinking Amendola has become a much favored receiver in Stl and might get a lot more balls thrown to him.

But I feel crazy for not starting a healthy Nicks

opinions?

It's not exactly crazy since you're PPR. Both face tough secondaries this week. I wouldn't sit a Healthy Nicks, but he's questionable with the foot. I personally seldom sit my studs, so I'd play Nicks, but if your gut says Amendola (in PPR), it's not crazy. Sometimes Fantasy Football comes down to hunches.

Start the STUD = Nicks, unless the injury report and practice reports turn South.

He goes up against 2 good corners this week and he isn't 100% with the foot, being limited in practice from here on out. I don't think it's a stretch to sit him in favor of Amendola.

Amendola's match up is worse than Nicks and Nicks is a stud. If healthy, he gets my start vote.
