We're just as bad as the "replacement" ones. I think that most peoplegriped because they thought that they were supposed to. The normal refs have just as many crap calls.

Now I know that the refs can't get the call right everytime, but our normal officials are loads better than these replacement refs. Some of the replacements are former high school and lingere leauge refs. At least our normal refs have the advantage of years of exp calling games. I think alot of people think of being a ref as a job anyone can do but they don't understand the amount of studying snd flim they have to watch in the off season.

To error is human. Its not always the refs fault, they have reviews to fix these problems, unfortunatly they do not use them. If they called every foul the game would never end.

In the end I think fantasy football will change, as your studs will now start producing like they did last year. The numbers from Brees, brady and Rodgers is no where near last year. There are many contributing factors, but I think you will see the numbers go back to normal, games going 3 hr 3 minutes and a better overall product. Perfect , no, better bleep ya!

Anytime you have human interaction you are bound to have problems. I never recall the refs in the NFLRA being on such a poor streak as the replacement refs were on. Each week was progressively getting worse, culminating in a poor call in the MNF game. A move the NFL backed! Talk about asinine! Yet, the NFL was in a corner and could not disagree with the call, but I am sure they felt the reprecussions.

Not that my football watching habits will change now that the professionals are back in place, but I am glad to see it has happened, unfortunately the turning point cost at least 1 team a win.

From the back endzone camera, the SEA call was not as black and white as people want to make it. I agree that it should have been an interception, but that is what it is. I just think that the replacements were not THAT much worse than the "real" refs. We are just conditioned to back those that we believe are being "wronged". Either way, it's normal again, more bad calls, but less talk about them!

One angle made it seem pretty cut and dried (yes, maybe some bias on my part but I'm one who accepts a correct call and prefers that over a bad one helping my team). I agree with you Trick on the SEA call in regards to it is what it is. There were two opportunities to either reverse or state it was a bad call (instant replay and then the public statement by the NFL afterwards). After that, like or not one has to live with it.

Maybe only because I knew it was the regular refs, but TNF seemed to flow smoother and have fewer bad calls. I can't remember exactly and am thinking they weren't 100% on calls, but have to chalk that up to some rust. Biggest thing was the flow seeming quicker and fewer delays. Just my two cents!
