I am a Saints fan first but Battle is looking better and better. Do you think I should drop Ingram and try and pick up Battle since he seems to be getting some solid carries? Thanks for all the help, I don't know what I'd do without this forum! :)

Ingram does seem like just a place holder on your team right now. Battle would be an interesting pick up to take a flyer on the right situation happening to get him some carries. Battle is a big slow back that has shown he can get into the end zone. Sunday SD was likely punishing Matthews to get through to him about his fumbling. That said they want Matthews to be the guy in SD. Matthews is a dynamic back that can change the game and carry the team at times. I dont see Battle doing much in the long run, but probably has more chance right now that Ingram of making an impact. Ingram is burried behind P Thomas and Sproles for carries.

Mathews can't hold on to the ball, so as long as he continues to turn the ball over, Battle will be a viable option in the San Diego backfield. We have already seen the likes of Brown and Brinkley struggle when Mathews was out. Battle proved last year he could be a straight ahead runner in KC. Mathews is struggling since returning off injury, could be that way for a few more games. Approaching week 5 I think looking at other options should be considered.

Ingram is just a place holder but my league is very thin on running backs so I need some kind of change. It seems like Battle gets a lot of goal line touches which is why I thought of him. As of right now I think I am going to dump Ingram.
