This is my main team. I play an ESPN.com Standard league, non-ppr. I'm 2-2 with this team and I don't know why... I think it's pretty stong. I've had injuries but have been able to cover for them.

My point totals by week... 1 = 121 points, 2 = 82, 3 = 77, 4 = 82 ... seems my team is getting worse every week.

QB: Stafford, Luck

RB: F. Jackson, Leshoure, McGahee, Mendenhall, Rice, Ridley

WR: Decker, Holmes, D. Jackson, J. Jones, Simpson

TE: Rudolph

D/ST: Seahawks (was the Packers until this week)

K: Hanson (was Keading until this week)

What do you suggest I do to make my team better? Any trade suggestions?

I also have 3 other teams and they were all 0-3 before this week, I think I may have won 1 game this week. I used the draft analyser for my drafts and it just didn't work for me this year. I used it last year and my teams were killer, this year... I'm getting killed.

I went 0-3 this week myself. It happens sometimes. For the year I am now 3-1, 2-2, and 2-2. Last year I kinda limped through the season a little bit, too; all of my teams made the playoffs but none of them had first round byes. Then I caught fire in the playoffs and made the championship game in all 3. I was lucky to win one of them after Romo left with the thumb injury very early in week 16.

Sometimes I wonder if a more effective draft strategy would be to use only weeks 1-13 to draft, and then sometime around weeks 9-10 pull new numbers and target guys via trade who are predicted to be particularly hot in weeks 14-16.

I think a lot of people entered their drafts this year with the perception that Brees, Rodgers, and Brady were going to put up crazy numbers in comparison to the other QBs out there, and so far that has not been the case. Next year I think I am going to go back to my old strategy of waiting for a QB in the mid rounds and not drafting Vick under any circumstances, regardless of what the DA says. :) I will also no longer make fun of people for drafting rookie QBs like RG3 who have clearly panned out for them so far.

Stafford finally had a good game this week, I expected him to put up big numbers this year but so far he has been dreadful, very inaccurate. I think I'm gonna give Luck a chance and see what he can do for me. Julio has been inconsistant, the 2 weeks I won are the weeks he had big games and the 2 games where he put up 0 and then 3 points are the weeks I lost. I need to do something about my WR situation, Jackson had a good week and that helped me out. But the 3 points from Leshoure/Jones and the 0 points from Rudolph killed me this week.

I have strong RB's, thinking of trying to trade one for a "consistant" WR.

I hope that Decker and Manning keep playing the way they have for the past 2 weeks... if so I'll ride Decker for the rest of the year. If I could just find 2 WR's that score 10 points per week, every week, I'll be set.

I was looking and I found that Austin Miles and Mike Wallace fit my description of "10 pts a week, every week"... I wonder what it would take to get both of them? I could probably trade straight up for them with McGahee and Ridley, but then I don't think I would be comfortable with the RB's I have left. Guess I can't have everything.. lol

I got beat in one league because SF defense scored 40 points.

Kinda an unusual year, I must say. I drafted in 8th spot and took Brady as my number 1. He finally put up a good game this week. In my main league, I am 3-0 and soon to be 3-1. I am finished for the week and 5.35 points ahead of my opponent who has Austin to play tonight. I guess it is possible, but I would rather be in his position than mine. The LA has been pretty much spot on for me this year, which hasn't always been the case in the past. Even though it has been spot on, I still look at trends and input that is not part of the calculations in the LA.

I'm #1 on the ww and have been that way since wk 1 and am not sure that I see anything on the horizon that makes me want to use it.

If I would have followed the LA this week I would have been fine, BUT I over-thought it. LA said:

McGahee = 10.79 (in RED, Low Confidence Starter will meet predicted performance)

Leshoure = 8.89 (in Green, Confident Starter will exceed predicted performance)

So I started Leshoure, thinking that I would rather have a "confident" 8-9 points then an "unconfident" 10-11 points.

From now on I'll follow the LA verbatim and see what happens.

Started to come back a little. Started 2-0 and both leagues and hopefully will be 2-2 after tonight. I have the upper hand in both games, but still nervous.

In one league I need Bears D and Robbie Gould to put up 11.74 points.

In the other I have Miles Austin (1 point PPR) + 10.96 against Forte (if he plays) or Devin Hester if not.
