Just dropped Ogletree for Hixon (Nicks foot injury) and am trying to decide which way to go when Nicks comes back. In addition, someone just dropped Avery and I may be able to get him via FA when he comes off the ww on Saturday morning.

From this list which wr has the best value for the rest of the year? I am listing them in the order that the Draft Analyzer values them and putting the wr draft postiion next to the name.

Ogletree (50), Simpson (54), Avery (76), Britt (78), Hankerson (80), Hixon (105).

Start 1-QB, 2-WR, 2-RB, 1-TE, 1-WR/RB/TE, 1-K, 1-D

12 Team PPR League 0.25 pts/completion 1 pt/rec 1 pt 10 yds rushing & receiving 6 pts TD, 1 pt 25 yds/ passing 4 pts passing TD, -2 fumble, -2 int

I personally for the rest of the year still have hope that Britt can get past his injuries and become a top WR that he looked like at the start of last year and the end of the year before that. If I had to pick one of those guys that I thought would help me the most in the playoffs I would bet on Britt. The next two are close for me and are Avery and Simpson. Avery does look like he is getting plenty of looks in Indy and you have to think that Luck will continue to develope and improve as the year goes on. Next would be Hankerson who I think has room to still improve, but I am not too excited about him. Last would be Hixon and Ogletree, both seem like they are lost in the depth chart with minimal upside and inconsistent performance.

Now that Avery is in a starting position every week, I think he makes the most sense. He performed well when Collie was out, and now that Collie's gone the rest of the season he will get consistent looks and targets. Plus, he's already had his bye week so you don't need to worry about that.

I'm in the Simpson camp myself. I like what Ponder has shown so far this season. Simpson is the missing piece to that offense as the deep threat, who also complements Percy Harvin. As long as the running game succeeds, I think it will allow Ponder time to throw. While Simpson might not get the number of looks that Avery would, I think he has a better chance at posting numbers weekly.

I'm really looking at dropping Hixon on Saturday if Nicks is going to start, so that I can pick up Avery without using my number 1 ww position. What do you think?
