Leaning towards DWill though both have tough matchups and I can't tell if one is that much better a start than the other.

DWill only had 1/3 of the carries last week. But will Spiller get much more, worried about making it a full game & vs the 49'ers (not that Seahawks are that much easier!).

Also, once again missed out on the "hot" waiver pickups to at least solidify my bench in place of Crabtree. Could pick up Bess instead (is it a wash?). Also considering picking up Powell (TBH likes Grimes better, but will that be later than sooner?). Or just sit for now (like I did with Hartline last week, lol - not that he may have any more week 4 performances, but minimally can be a spot starter and provide bench depth).

Thoughts on my RB2 starter and free agent pick up?

D Will, I don't like either BUF back vs SF. Take your chance with D Will in his limited carries.

Powell hasn't really had much of a chance to be a game changer or make any sort of impact when Greene has been off, which has been regularly, then again the Jets are playing some poor football. I don't think I pick up Powell right now, let him ride. He doesn't have much value. Bess is nice, but more for PPR. I think I would roll with Crabs until something else is available.

Yeah...limited carries unfortunately, but guess better than Spiller (sure hope don't kick myself on Monday, but given the factors don't see Spiller being the smart start).

And figured Bess is best for PPR and only other I see is Hixon, but not liking that either. Best to stay put rather than chase my tail!

I would take a shot on Spiller he is way more explosive and can make a play through the air also

The Spiller - DWill decision should be based on what you think you will need to win. If you need a sure 6-10 points, then go DWill. If you need the upside, then go Spiller since he has the potential to break a long run or catch and run even against the 49ers.

If the wr decision is a who to start THIS week, then Hixon is the call. For the entire season, then Hixon is good only if Nicks injury keeps him out. Bess is a good possession receiver but not very exciting - best as a fill in on bye weeks. Crabtree has the better tools, but is like Dez Bryant to me and is inconsistent and hard to trust.

I like what O1P said! Spiller has the better potential for big game, but Williams is the (not for sure) safer points.

I like Hixon as well over Bess.

I'm at a bit of a loss knowing how things'll shake out - thinking maybe I'll need more upside than safer points. Lineups are:

Brees, AP, Spiller(?), Colston, Nelson, Flacco (flex), Gonzo, Hartley, & SF vs

Newton, MJD, Mathews, Cruz, Wallace, Dalton (flex), Casey, Zuerlein, GB

Think his lineup is more potent than mine so possibly need to take a risk on Spiller? What's folks take on my matchup?

And on Crabtree vs waiver pickups, it's for future potential, depth, and bye week fill ins only. With Amendola going down for 6-7 weeks not sure what to do. Martin has me concerned too so I was looking at best future player to pickup if it made sense. Looks like hold off again and just keep Crabtree for now.

I use the team anlyzer to compare my team to his. Gives me an idea if I need upside or a safer play.

Ahhh...one tool hadn't tried despite having been here a good while! Only issue was his TE (Casey - Hou) wasn't listed. But taking into account Zuerlein under produced by 7 fp's, it's showing me having an advantage of 16 fp's. Wonder...keep going back and forth. Don't like # of carries DWill gets, but Spiller having Jackson & 49'er defense (plus hate cheering for someone to do well against my D!). Looks like stick with DWill as first thought...
