non-ppr league, no bench space.

Gates has been pretty mediocre. Even in the last two games where they scored 37 and 24 points respectfully. He has scored 4.3, 0, 2.2, 5.9, 1.9. 0 TDs.

Waiver isn't that great. Somebody dropped Finely after the injury, but he has been mediocre. Owen Daniels has been decent, but will hold judgement till tonight. Spotty Chandler and Celek. What would you guys do?

I have the same problem in one league. I have been playing Olsen over him every week.

I would pick up Daniels if you are in a ppr league.

At this point I look for other options in order to stay competitive. There have been other wire TEs who have produced more than Gates has. Daniels has an upside, but not sold on the amount of passing that HOU does. I would still pick up Daniels over Celek or Chandler at this point.

Actually, I thought the O pass interference call against Gates looked like the replacement refs were back, phamtom call. If that had counted, it increased his output by 6 points.

Rank them:

Gates, Daniels, Celek, Chandler
----
Start 1-QB, 2-WR, 2-RB, 1-TE, 1-WR/RB/TE, 1-K, 1-D

12 Team PPR League 0.25 pts/completion 1 pt/rec 1 pt 10 yds rushing & receiving 6 pts TD, 1 pt 25 yds/ passing 4 pts passing TD, -2 fumble, -2 int

I dont think you can drop gates, but I would agree that you need to see if you can find space to pick someone else up to start until he shows some production.

Yeah its a tough call with a short bench. Would you drop anybody? Here's who I have, 10team non-ppr, no flex, start QB,RB,RB,WR,WR,WR,TE,K,Def.

QB:Stafford, Rivers

RB:McCoy,Bradshaw,F.Jackson,Spiller,Leshore

WR:S.Johnson,Harvin,A.Brown,D.Moore

TE:Gates.

K:Hanson

Def:Mami

I don't usually like to carry that many RB's in this league, normally 4 max. Obviously though been having issues with the health of Jackson, Spiller, Bradshaw and even Leshore.

Looks like the solution is to either keep Gates or drop him for Celek. I would keep Gates and hope he turns it around.

Daniels looking good again so far tonight. Since Bradshaw, Spiller and Jackson are healthy I could possibly drop Leshore. Hate to do it, but I can only play two and TE, DEF has been killing me so far.

Could you offer Leshore up in a trade for a TE?

Possibly. I see one owner a little down on his luck with injuries. Maybe propose that I give him Leshore and Gates for Jimmy Graham and a scrub. Maybe he would be down on Graham due to injury. The point would be I drop the scrub, pick up Owen Daniels to cover Graham on the bye while he is healing. I end up with a better TE, lose only Leshore who I may not even use.
