Looks like the Tier rankings adjust all season. I was trying to see if anyone actually picked Brees over Brady and Rodgers in any pre-season draft rankings. What really astounds me is Doug Martin's current Tier 4 ranking. He's in the same boat down in Tampa Bay as any Cardinal running back ,..isn't he?....Extremely crappy offensive line? Very risky start under any circumstances?

I picked Brees over all QB's for these reasons:

Easy schedule. Easy fantasy playoff schedule weeks 14 thrrough 16, and the fact that their defense was terrible and Brees would have to throw to stay in games.

Tampa has to play catchup due to an awful secondary and often must resort to the pass to stay in games so far... The problem is that Freeman is not like Brees to pull this off.

The problem with the LA is it must not take into account Tampa Bay's bad secondary and has Martin getting double digit points a lot of the upcoming weeks. Which would be correct if TB could play a normal game probably. I guess I just need to stay away from playing Martin.

The draft analyzer is a tool that I use through the year to provide input on which player to pick up. You can continue to run it and it will provide input for the rest of the year on each player.

That's some pretty smart thinking on taking Brees.Pretty much everyone had Brady and Rodgers ranked above Brees, so if you didn't think on your own and just followed the rankings....you are pretty much losing 20 points a week at the QB position.

Does the draft analyzer take into account that this team will be playing catch up most the time though? Sure Martin should score 13 points certain weeks if TB could play a normal game....but I was wondering if being behind was a factor used to figure estimated point totals?

As the season progresses, the numbers will adjust and if TB is playing from behind all year, then it will have an impact. Just remember, that these are tools that use historical data to calculate performance. As always, if you feel they will be blown out early, then you should adjust the numbers based on your analysis. Some teams and players are more impacted by the blow out than others.

If the LA was 100% accurate, then we wouldn't need to play the game. I was just reviewing the rankings of the top experts in fantasy football and the highest rated expert was correct 62% of the time, repeat = 62% of the time. That means they are wrong 38% of the time. And we beat ourselves up because we can't figure out something that the guys who earn a living can't. Just think, if all you did was flip a coin, you would think you could be right 50% of the time, but that isn't the case, is it.

I had my choice of QBs at #4 and drafted Brees over the other two.
