QB - E. Manning, M.Shaub

RB - F.Jackson, L.McCoy, M.Forte, C.Bensen, P.Hillis, D. Wilson

WR - M.Austin, Malcom Floyd, Julio Jones, V.Cruz, V.Jackson, J.Simpson

Non PPR 10 team league, 1 RB/WR/TE Flex

Start

1 QB

2 RB

3WR

1 Flex RB/WR/TE

i have been offered:

QB - Palmer (Eli's bye week Palmer plays the Bucs)

RB - M.Lynch

WR - E.Decker, D.Bryant

what he wants from my team:

QB - M.Shaub

RB - M.Forte

WR - M.Floyd, M.Austin

i ran it through the TA and said it would slightly improve my line up but i need a second option.

does anyone think this is a good trade?

let me know

I am struggling with this trade. You give up Forte who is certainly = to if not better than Lynch and Austin for Bryant, which is a downgrade in my opinion,. Floyd for Decker is a wash and I could argue that both sides get more benefit, although I do favor Decker. Palmer for Schaub is a bye week filler and I would throw out the any weeks other than the bye week. .

This trade just makes the teams look different, not sure it improves either team. Just a different set of RB's and wr's on each team. I can't find a reason you shouldn't do it, but also can't find a reason that you should.

I agree and would not give up Forte either. O1p is spot on when he says it makes the teams look different but does not equal a true advantage to you. Good luck.

I think everything in this trade is fairly a wash, BUT I do like Lynch better than Forte. With Bush in Chicago I just dont see Forte getting enough TDs to make him pass up Lynch in points the rest of the year. I would rather have Lynch on my team as the weather gets bad and teams run the ball more and defenses get worn out as the year goes on. I am not sure how his second half numbers compare to first half each year but I would get it gets better as the year goes on. I would also think that Forte is more injury prone considering he has already missed a game this year. It comes a lot down ot preference on the other players... the Qb swap helps you on the bye week. I do like Decker as the best of the 4 WRs and I think everyone is low on Dez, but he is a high risk, high reward guy that could come on strong if Dallas pulls their head out of their ... and starts scoring some points.

I like the deal and would do it, but then I like to mix things up and I just like Lynch better than Forte.

Lynch - 68

Forte - 43 on NFL.com standard scoring as of today... fact check at end of year and lets see who is right...

I favor the deal as well. I think Bryant is a notch above Austin due to his athletic ability (he gets the lob passes around the goal line). And I do think Lynch is a slight upgrade over Forte. But that's just based on Lynch getting all goal line carries. If Forte stayed in at the goal line, I would favor him. But he doesn't.
