ESPN standard scoring. 1 pp 10 yards rushing, receiving. 1 pp 25 yards passing. 6 pp rushing/receiving TD, 4 pp passing TD. We start 1 QB, 2 RBs, 2 WRs, 1 flex RB/WR and 1 flex WR/TE.

Team A trades Tony Romo and Victory Cruz

Team B trades Matt Ryan (or Tom Brady) and Dez Bryant

Team A's other QB is Flacco. Other WRs are Fitzgerald, Hartline, Roddy White, and Desean Jackson.

Team B's other QB is Brady. Other WRs are AJ Green, Vincent Jackson, Floyd, and Garcon.

Fair trade? What do you think? I'll let you know what the lineup analyzer says after a few comments.

Thanks!

Looks like a winner on both sides. Team A upgrades at QB and downgrades at WR. Just the opposite for Team B. Since Team B cannot start both QB's, it gets an upgrade at starting wr. What A loses at wr, it makes up for at qb. The trade is fair, it improves both teams, but improves B more than A.

Thanks for the input! Would swapping Ryan for Brady make for a more or less even trade? I'm curious which QB will have a better rest of the season.

Hard to say who has the better rest of the season. Brady has history but that is subject to change, just look at Rodgers and Newton last year to this year. It is a gamble.

TA says (with Ryan): slightly improve starting lineup for Team B, has value- make the trade.

TA says (with Brady): will improve starting lineup for Team B, good value- make the trade.

I'm in a similar situation but nobody commented on mypost, so hope you don't mind that I jump in here since it seems active.

I was offered Brady & Dez Bryant for Romo & Julio Jones. I think it's a no brainer for me, but TA says it's just a wash w/ no impact.

thoughts?

that sounds like a pretty good deal to me. Jones could have a great year, but he'll always have to split catches/targets with Roddy White.

thanks, I'm thinking the same thing. Almost thought it was too good to be true, so I checked injury reports and all of them seem healthy.

Dez still leads the team in looks and Romo loves him. He had a good game before the bye and will get better IMO. The drop off between Jones & Bryant doesn't seem even close to the improvement at QB.
