Again, IDP stands for Individual Defensive Player. Please do not ask questions about offense here. Thank you!

David, while I would usually prefer Foster on most occassions, this week I would take Lance Briggs. He's put together several solid weeks and I see him having more opportunities for tackles against the Lions as opposed to Foster who is going against a pass happy Saints team.

Pollard is okay, but just not going to put up the points that Briggs or Foster would.

Alright with Ray Lewis out i need to grab one of these guys:

Colin McCarthy

Luke Keluchy

Bobby Wagner

Philip Wheeler

David Harris

Vontaze Burfict

Larry Foote

AJ Hawk

Wesley Woodyard

*or one of the 2 guys taking over for Ray Lewis? (Ellerbe, and McClain?

Also should I stick with Kam Chancellor? Or look to the wire this week? Hes kinda been underwhelming... Pollard, Landry, Harper are all out there

Mullenium, While I really like Luke Keuchly, I would have to go with Colin McCarthy, he's just getting back to being healthy and I had him ranked in the top 10 at the begining of the year, and with the Titans struggling, the defense will be on the field alot more.

Wesley Woodyard would be my third choice behind McCarthy and Keuchly.

Here are a couple questions looking down the road. If you don't get to it until next week, don't worry about it. With Terrell Suggs returning to practice, does he hold much value for this season? Would he be worth replacing D'Qwell Jackson or Bowman?

Hey Robert...

I loved the recommendation for Kuechly early in the year- he's perfromed wonderfully for me, especially week 5. Anyway, with Beason coming back, and Luke moving back to the weak side, do you think he will be able to put up week 5 numbers again? Will Carolina possibly see how dominate he was as a middle linebacker and slide him into Beason's spot?

Just looking for your opinion. Thanks as always!

Charles

Nathaniel, Suggs is said to be 20 pounds overweight, even if he does play this week, he is still looking at 2 weeks minimum to get into game shape, and it is doubtful that he will be 100% healthy the rest of the way. Bottom line, Suggs is a huge gamble.

There is no way I would drop D'Qwell Jackson, he is my number one linebacker on the board this year, and Bowman is a top 10 Linebacker, if you were in my league, I'd be really worried about playing you with that lineup from week to week.

Charles, I actually dropped Jon Beason from my squad as he is still being listed as questionable this week. To be honest, Keuchly has not performed as well on the weakside as I would have hoped, he's a natural MLB, but as long as Beason is still on the team, and once he's healthy, he's going to assume the MLB role, but I don't think he is going to remain healthy the rest of the year.

It's a role of the dice, but if you have the room to keep Kuechly on your roster he's definetly worth it, and I do think that next season you need to keep an eye on the Carolina LB situation, Beason just can't keep healthy, and I'm not sure of his contract situation, but it wouldn't surprise me if he was released next year and Kuechly stepped into the MLB role full time.
