A lot of people approached drafting this year on the premise that going QB in the first round was a great way to go, and that three elite QBs were going to blow away the rest of the league. So far that hasn't happened, and teams that picked RG3 or P. Manning in later rounds have a clear advantage over teams that drafted Rodgers or Brady in the first round. Then there are the guys who drafted Stafford or Newton early on (I'm in that boat with Stafford). There is still plenty of football left to be played, and Russ's strategies have worked out well for me in the past!

Some truth to that Marcus. In our league we start 2 QBs, so it's a bit more important to grab the big ones early as these players usually end up as the top 15 scoring players at the end of the year. There have been some nice surprises at QB, Bob3, Ponder and Dalton just to name a few. I don't think I would fault anyone for taking a QB as in the end it will all even out and you will see many of the common names at the top of the scoring list.

Lots of luck involved... but the tools on this site are pretty legit.

Started using this sites tools last year about 4 weeks into the season. The Trade Analyzer really helped me make adjustments to my roster... Was 1-3 before using the tools, finished regular season 9-4. Came in 4th overall.

This year, I used the Trade Analyzer tier system from the get-go and what a difference! Currently 5-1 thanks to a SOLID draft and some great pickups along the way.

Basically, the tools work... but there is also some luck involved.

Luck is a HUGE part of fantasy football and one can't be factored in or predicted.

“I am hosting one league on NFL.com as well. Personally I thing there projections are way out of sync and have been less than reliable. I completely ignored them all year and instead took input from the LA at FFS which has proven to be much more accurate”. (Hooked 5 year Member)
